Works for me
I don’t use it as an edge control. I use it to lay my hair down for my buns. It’s works perfectly for my 4B hair. It only leaves a “residue” if you don’t let it dry all the way or at least 80% while your head scarf is on.

this gel works good and holds and slicks down my hair very fast.. it does flake up real quick right around my edges after 3 days.. but all gels and pomades flake on me..
