Swar Vistaar: 60 Hindustani Raaga

I can't believe that I can sing Indian Hindustani classical raagas now without belonging from any singing background as well as not having any formal training. Universe has no concept of perfection. Everything is correct. Just your positive vision required to see. I am extremely greatful to the author for his research work. Thank you.

My only wish is that Komal Rishabh Asavari Todi would be covered. But most of the other common ragas are covered very nice. A little gharana treatment might be useful, especially for some of the most complex ragas.

Not good

Excellent tool for students in music. Strongly advise students to procure copy.

8 alankar for 60 Raags doesn't justify the price tag.

the Book contains aaroh avroha , vadi , samvadi, thaat, singing timing, jadi, and aalap of 60 raags, there are some mistakes, in aroha and avroha of raags which means the entire raag would have been completely wrong, take for example, raag Bihag, aaroh, avroha and thaat details are wrong. Tried to contact the author, did not find any details to reach him out.
