5 Layer SUV Car Cover Waterproof All Weather, Universal Fit Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Nissan Murano, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Hyundai Palisade, Volkswagen Atlas etc, Up to 201 Inch

I've had two of the T1-sized covers for two weeks and they have worked very well. My cars are garaged, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them out of doors because of their sturdiness and tie-downs. I purchased them primarily to keep the dust off of cars that I don't drive every day. I live in a very windy area with leaves and dust flying in the garage -- even when the garage door is closed. In this regard, they have worked perfectly.They are a great fit for my two sports cars (BMW Z4 and Triumph TR6). The construction is sturdy, the exterior is very durable and the inside of the covers are soft and car finish-friendly. PROS: Great fit, durable, safe for car paint. CON: Have to remove car antennas to cover entire car with the cover. I would normally have rated this 4/5 because of the antenna issue, but I don't know of any other competitive products that could accommodate antennas. I definitely would purchase again.

My 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is my baby, and while I cannot store her inside during the winter months, I do park her between two buildings for shelter, and cover her. Last year, her first NW Illinois winter, she survived okay, but the cover I purchased was flimsy thin, and the grommets which were intended for bungee cords to secure the cover ripped within days. So I purchased this cover, based solely on the description. What a delightful surprise! The fabric is thick, and the edges are elastic, which give it a snug fit around the bottom. Also included a three tie-downs, sewn into the edging, which are plenty long to pull the cover tightly in the front, middle, and rear. After a weekend of ice and rain, the fabric remained water-tight and did not need adjusting to put it back in place. Great item!

**Pros**- Easy to put on, not likely to tangle or bunch, and front/back reversible- Won't get tangled in storage, even if not folded correctly- Excellent material, truly waterproof- Feels well made- Silver finish reflects sunlight- Value for money**Cons**- Doesn't fit well, even based on my expectations for a generic cover. Not wide enough (I checked the size before buying it & made sure it was rated for my car).- Can't easily attach tie-straps, and they don't have a securing mechanism when attached.- Because of the two above cons, even a mild wind will lift up the cover and cause it to slip off.- I'll probably have to figure out a way to attach weights to keep it from blowing off, will be a great cover once that issue is resolved.

I usually don't spend a lot of money on car covers. At around $45 for a year is cheap insurance against rain in winter and scorching heat in the summer! I have a BLACK 2007 Honda CRV. Most covers I purchase are too big and blow off in the wind if not tied down, too long or too short. This one fits like a glove and has a soft lining inside so the paint is not scratched getting in on an off. !!! It comes with straps but when it is a little windy I leave the mirrors out, like in the picture, for an extra snug fit. On most days I leave the mirrors in and it fits perfectly! I am so happy with this cover I am going to purchase another one and keep it until next year when this one is worn out.

Overall this a very good product. I would have rated it a 5 were it not for the lack of an adequate tie down system. The seller neglected to say that aren’t any buckles on the straps. You have to thread the strap through a loop on other side and tie?? Not a good system. That could be remedied when making the cover for little cost and make the cover much more user friendly. I don’t tie it down because it’s too much trouble and either comes untied itself or is difficult to untie. Will see what happens when the winds start. But otherwise the cover seems well made: sturdy yet lightweight, easy to put on and elastic keeps the cover pretty tight. . Fits my Rav4 well. I like the lighter weight fabric as opposed to the heavier cloth. Lack of mirror pockets does not seem to make much difference one way or the other. Can’t comment on durability because haven’t had long enough.

I was really disappointed in this cover. Its much thinner than the Amazon basics cover which is about $20 cheaper. There is absolutely no way there are 6 layers in this paper thin cover. 2 of the 3 straps were already fraying after my second day of use! The storage bag is extremely cheap as well. The only plus side of the cover is that its light and provides good coverage for my car.

IRain storm aways coming in this season.rain and heay wind will take some trouble for my car ,it is very annoying. so i want to find a waterproof and windproof cover . i have purchased a cover for other brand in the past ,but it belw away by the wind .so i purchsed second cover by GUNHYI, it does good job for heavy wind and rain so far .

ok Amazon guys;& whomever buys this product (GUNHYI 5 layer car cover); NOT sure why they are saying this cover is 5 layers as my eye/feeling do NOT show 5 layers; it does show 2 with the possiblity of a third layer inside (?) BUT does NOT feel like a 5 layer cover/material; Everything else seems fairly accurate for discription; still was disappointed on the thickness/weight of material BUT i think it will do the job in regards to needing a sun sheild for my CRV Honda; also NO printed lettering as to front or back-lastly, NOT sure how waterproof this cover is as I have not had it that long to test that either-Joe Taylor (Char.NC)
