Healthy College Eating Made Easy
In high school I got fed up with my body. In the middle of my junior year, I decided to change that. I found out that I was ignorant of how to lose weight so I began to read books such as The Diet for Teenagers Only , Toning for Teens: The 20-Minute Workout that Makes You Look Good and Feel Great! , and Weight Loss Confidential: How Teens Lose Weight and Keep It Off -- and What They Wish Parents Knew . I found that they were filled with valuable information on not only how to lose weight but how to become healthy. I have lost 60 lbs. to this day by changing my eating habits and getting active. I had the perfect eating/fitness routine until I got to college... then it all changed! I purchased this book to help me become aware of the traps we fall into in college. It is VERY informative and helpful. It ranges from teaching you what to avoid, what's necessary for survival, and even what to eat during an "all nighter." I recommend this book to anyone that wants to change their lifestyle completely or to someone that just needs a refresher in the course of healthy living. It is also an enjoyable read!

Great High School Graduation Gift
I have given this book as a graduation gift to several girls going off to college and have had very positive responses. I really like Daphne Oz. She is not only a college graduate who experienced weight gain in college but has studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Natural Gourmet Institute which give her great credibility in my mind.

Good book in bad shape
All together this is a great book. It is just how it came packaged that really bothered me. I ordered the 10 step most recent version of this book, but I ended up getting the 8 step old version. Very disappointed. Also, I bought this new, and the condition of the book was definitely not a new book. There were marks all over the cover and the inside pages were folded. Altogether, very disappointed. The book itself is very helpful though.

For the Younger Ladies
Good book. If I had one negative, it is that it is definitely for the college age group. It still had a lot of good information. I picture I will reference it in the future when I want to get information on something.

Daphne makes some really good points about internal drive and motivation
its an alright book. Daphne makes some really good points about internal drive and motivation. still easier said than done in many ways, not everything is easy when you are living with other people.

Needs to update the book....
I have been using this book for a college clss for women since 2007.I was elated when the first revision came out...but it is time to update some of the info.Please....do it!Thanks,NBM

Different description
This book is in good condition. Its not a big deal but the cover on this book is different than the book i ordered. Hopefully i can find the time to read this book while at school.

Disapointing
This book is (obviously, i now realise) written from a very american point of view, so many of the foods mentioned are very difficult to find in the UK. It also has a lot about supplementation and holistic nutrition which would be very costly to put into practice while at university...
