After about two years, it still works well.

TP link is the best brand for quality budget router. Quality at this price is undeniable. Sure other brands like iBall, mercusys, tenda may offer cheaper products with more features but none of them have this build quality.Why this product ?1. Under 2000 inr, this is one of the best routers.It has 4 antennas,Supports dual band i.e. 2.4 and 5ghz wifiAnd honestly that's all you need.2. No gigabit but do you need it ?Some might argue you should opt for a gigabit router since this does not have those but i ask you does it fit your purpose?Gigabit router allows for connection for 1gbps. So if you have a plan between 5- 70Mbps then you do not need a gigabit router.Your plan itself is capped under 100 so unless you plan to get a internet plan for over 100Mbps then this is your best bet.3. Future proofLet me explain, let's say you do get a gigabit router in future and you don't what to do with this one. Two words : Range extender.Yes tp link router supports built in auto settings for several operation modes.You can simply chose range extender mode, select your wifi , add the credentials and you're done. The four antennas will pick up the signal and you'll have a good wifi connection throughout your house.I know this because I have recommended this twice to PPL (2bhk/3bhk flats for 2-3 users).3. Bandwidth sharingIf you buy a two antenna or a cheaper router, there is a chance that it will fail on you when load increases.What I mean by that is total no of active users. Without any issue (speed / lag) this router supports 4-5 users effectively. They could be streaming, playing games etc.Also note if you plan to have 4-5 users on same wifi then no matter what router you choose, you first need a minimum 50Mbps internet connection.On a 30Mbps plan you can have 3 users simultaneously without issue.So don't be dumb , get a good plan.To sum it up1. Good range.2. Good build quality.3. Quality software with updates4. Easy to install and user friendly interface.5. Best in price and class6. Future proof as range extender

Works charmly.Pros:1) Best dual band router in its price range.2) Wifi signal stay strong even placed 4 walls away.3) Got 4 antenna's, 2 for 2.4g, 2 for 5g.4) Several ports including- Wlan, lan x4,WPS button.Cons:1) Lacks usb port.2) It has 3 pin adaptor which in some case occupy more space than 2 pin adaptor on power sources.

I really needed a good repeater since there were two walls blocking signals from my old d-link router So, i was frequently loosing connection and slow network. I also needed 5GHz WiFi signals for my new devices.Solution:Rather than replacing the old router, I was able to use bridge mode in the router settings to make my new router as a repeater. Works like. a charm and i get max speeds from my ISP.

Very weak signals not covering the area of 340 sqft. Does not penetrat through the walls. Two different frequencies of 2.4 and 5 have to be selected manually.Four antenna is just a show off, waste of money.

I used the same brand router that was a very basic version with only 1 antena but I loved the brand so as it's time for me to update to a new one I thought to go with the same brand and you know what it was a good decision . One of the cheapest and bestest router you can find right now . It's has got 4 antenas and the best part is it's a dual channel router . Standard 2.4ghz and 5ghz respectively.The looks of the router is amazing it looks very tempting the feel is amazing.The signal strength was awesome no issues there . My router would be in the last room and I can even connect when am on Terrece the range is killer.Speaking of speed as expected the speed was excellent the router did not throttle my internet.One thing I was really worried was the connectivity my last router was notorious for this . I can't get a stable connection for an hour I definitely need to restart the router. Since it was the same brand I was scared but you know what I have no such issues with it . Connectivity is good.You can also download an app to check for status of wifi and look who has access to your internet it's a neat little thing I don't think it's an excellent app. It's an ok app.Over all its a good bye. Lastly I wanna say is the 5ghz band connection is hit or miss when I connect to my phone I don't know its my phone fault 😑.

I am writing this review after more than 1 month of use. I am an old customer of tplink router, this one is my second router of this brand. Totally satisfied with this product. Installation was very simple, just follow few steps and your device is ready to use. Signal strength is marvellous, and dual band channel help you select desire channel over your usage. I will recommend this for simple to moderate use like wfh, gaming, streaming. Perfect for 2 bhk apartments.

TP LINK WARRANTY SERVICE IS VERY POOR.I HAVE PURCHASED PRODUCT AND ITS NOT EVEN COMPLETED ONE YEAR .SUDDENLY ITS NOT WORKING. I SEND IT BY COURIER TO TP LINK ITS TAKEN TWO MONTHS FOR WARRANTY CLAIM. SO I LOST TWO MONTHS WIFI BILL. BECAUSE FIRST THEY SAID WITHIN TWO WEEKS YOU WILL GET YOUR PRODUCT. BUT LIKE THAT ONE WEEK .... ALMOST ITS COMPLETED TWO MONTHS.SO QUALITY AND SERVICE ARE NOT GOOD.
