I had to set the record straight!!!
I began ordering these at the beginning of the pandemic. And, I couldn't have been more pleased. I ordered one batch in approximately April of 2020, and a few more batches in the fall of 2020. First, they are made of a cotton material, that is soft to the skin and layered with an even softer white cotton material inside. The nose pin comfortably conforms to the bridge of your nose to get an even, snug fit. Trust me, you want that snug fit to your face. If your mask does not snugly fit your face, it is NOT going to protect you properly. These masks go in and out as you breathe. Why do you ask? Because, that lets you know that your mask has a proper seal against your skin. Therefore, it is doing its job to protect you! I don't understand why other reviews are complaining about that? And, the sizes are spot on! My 16 year old daughter wears the medium black and the medium grey. She is 5ft 2.5 inches, and weighs 150lbs. I also wear the medium in black and in grey. And, I am 42yrs old, 5ft 2 inches, and weigh 118lbs. The mask that is in the posted pictures is from the first batch I purchased in March of 2020. We wear a freshly washed mask each day. That mask posted has been washed at least 2-3 times per week for over a year. And, just take a look at it, it has obviously held up very well! Here's a great tip at judging the quality of a facemask: Can you blow out a flame when you have the mask on? Does your mask go in and out as you breathe? If you cannot blow out a flame, and your mask goes in and out with your respirations.....then you have a quality mask! And these masks, pass the test every single time! Don't believe the bad reviews! People have either gotten the wrong size, aren't washing their masks, or they are wearing them incorrectly! And just an FYI, I absolutely do not have any affiliation with the company that manufactures these facemasks. I am just your average Jane who is trying to help you make an informed decision! In the end, it is up to you! So, I'll just quit blabbering and say "YES, I highly recommend these facemasks!" Best wishes and please stay safe!

Comfy masks
Love these masks! They’re super comfortable, feel well made, and are breathable. I’m a petite adult woman so I got the size small. The small size fits snug on my face which I appreciate as there’s no gaps on the side like you get with surgical masks. However, I feel like I would benefit more from a medium as the small is quite tight and seems like it would be more suitable for a child.I’m happy that these masks don’t have a strong chemical odor like a lot of masks do (although I would still recommend washing them first before wearing them). They also have a nice, sturdy nose clip that holds it’s shape. Overall, these met all my checkpoints! 👍

Reasonable quality, low price
As of this writing, the efficacy of masks in preventing the transmission of Covid 19 is still being debated. But my place of work requires them, and I'm OK with whatever protection they afford, even if it's marginal.I bought these masks because I'm absent-minded enough that I need to have them stashed in a few different spots--in my car, in my work bag, in my back pocket. I now have enough duplicates that even if I forget one (or one of them is stuck in laundry limbo), I have another nearby. They're soft, which is nice, and they seem reasonably durable. I see some stray threads from some loose stitches, but nothing is coming apart (yet). They're double layer, and while I don't know if that helps filter out pandemic gremlins any better, it probably doesn't hurt.I would like them a bit better if they had a steel wire stitched in over the bridge of the nose, like some of the other masks I've used. They're also just a bit too short--after a while they start to ride upward, uncovering my chin. I have to readjust them a few times a day.All in all though, they're inexpensive enough that I can keep duplicates, and they're no worse (and probably a bit better) than the disposable paper masks I was using before.

Excellent comfort & easy to wear effectively
I’ve ordered these for all my family and friends since the pandemic began, and every person found them to fit/seal well, easy to put on correctly, stays in place without dropping off the nose, & comfortable to wear. Durable & easy to hand wash & air dry overnight due to light weight fabric. Follows CDC recommendations on design & layering—keeps in place for good seal all day without having to adjust. I notice in some reviews people saying the part of mask near mouth & nose moves in & out while breathing: please know that this means the mask is working properly and you have a good seal—you want what you breathe going thru the mask, not around the edges, so that particulates are caught (filtered out) on the outside of the mask instead of being breathed into your mouth & nose. The quality of this made-in-America product is excellent.TIPS: for any mask you choose, try to do all positioning of the mask onto the face by touching only the ear loops—just pull gently on the loops (or the very outer edges of the mask) to place it, so that the droplets caught on the outside don’t contaminate your fingers. Put on & take off by the loops only, and if need to remove during the day, either lay the mask down with the outside surface downward, or fold it in half with the inner surface inside, and put it in a pocket or purse to reduce contamination. Wash or sanitize hands before & after putting on and taking off your mask too whenever possible, and resist taking your mask off as much as possible. Best wishes to all. (bio professional).

loops not stitched in on one side
fits nice, but each one side of the loops that goes around the ears at "hot glued gun'd" so if you put it through the washer once, it falls apart. the entire loop should be stitched in.
