Read the description carefully. The long tail and lead wires count for overall length. Also, they aren't very bright, but are sufficient in an otherwise dark area. So far, they seem to make it from dusk to dawn and look nice. Used inside a long greenhouse to provide overhead pathway lighting.

So bought these with very little faith they'd be any good - boy was I wrong! These are awesome! We bought to put up around our chicken coop and they worked out so well we ordered more to ut in other places! These are cute and bright and stay lit all night!

I got a 27' and a 48' strings for our patio. Installation was really easy using some cable clips. I finally installed them more than a week ago and but it wasn't until last night that we finally had a time to sit outside, unfortunately the 27' was flickering which was driving me crazy! Not sure if the company sells spare parts or that can be a solution for this. The lights have been installed/charging for more than a week so I'm pretty sure that it wasn't the charge. Does any one has experienced this?? Besides the flickering thing, I really like them and make the patio look really cozy.

THESE LIGHTS REALLY WORK GREAT. THEY ARE DURABLE AND GIVE OFF AN ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF LIGHT AROUND THE POOL AT NIGHT. THIS IS A GREAT BUY.

Edited two weeks later: The lights are working as promised. I’m assuming the solar panels needed more time to fully charge and distribute the energy across all of the bulbs. The wires are still not making a secure connection from the solar panel to the lights. You have to move the panels around a bit to get the lights to illuminate properly. It’s like there is a short somewhere in the wiring; make sure to test them ASAP. Give them 2 weeks before returning them.This negative review was based on faulty assumptions:“Hate to write a negative review but I have to share Edit: the lights are working as promised the truth about these lights. Purchased 2 sets & 2 extensions (don’t buy the extensions). Just think of them as an $80-$100 tip, fireworks, a concert ticket or an amusement park ticket. They’re not permanent. 1st picturture is the angle the solar panel has to be placed in for the lights to receive power (both sets have this issue; it's similar to using an old TV antenna). 2nd picture are the lights that are not working, and the 3rd picture is the relative distance (1/2) of the lights do not work. The 4th picture is an upclose shot of the LED; bottom 6 LED's work, Top 4 look burnt out. I'm aware that over time they may turn on and may last longer but I'm I live in the south TEXAS border region. We don't have tall trees blocking the sun...we have palm trees and Mesquite trees. Either way, these lights were placed in direct sunlight facing the sun (I have experience with solar and photography; I know where the sun is at all times of the day). The problem is with the solar panel and wiring. I'm not an electrician but you shouldn't have to play "twister" with electronics just to get them to work.It's only fair to mention that I bought these for my father as a Christmas Present in 2020. He finally took them out of the box and put them to use for a party. Four years in storage is a long time, but that's what you're buying right? These items are stored in an amazon warehouse and shipped on demand. We don't know how long a product has sat on a shelf before buying it...It's too late for a refund, but the lights are the same product the company is selling on 5/30/2024 (date of review).My father is convinced that the solar panel is not strong enough to light the entire strand of lights. I bought the longest version; maybe the shorter version works better. I don't know...but this is a consistent theme in all of the solar powered consumer electronics I've purchased over the past 4-5 years. Solar powered phone chargers, lights, toys, etc.. This includes the various solar lights I've purchased at home depot, walmart, harbor freight, lowes, etc. They last for a while...So if you buy, try them out ASAP!!!

Got these bad boys over the summer and they worked great and held a charge all night long. They've been pulling in less light over the winter, and won't hold a charge for the full night. But even on rainy or snowy days, they're still soaking up sunlight and working every night. I'd buy it again, but hope I won't have to for a while.

It lights up very nice at night. I wish it was longer I had to buy 2 of them as I have a 10 by 12 gazebo and I wish it came with hooks but I bought the command hangers so that worked out.
