Excellent road bike seat
Pretty confortable. The last 20 years I have been using many road bike saddles. For me the best are Brooks leather saddles - but too heavy. However I found this selle royal and consider it top on feeling and quality... if you want to ride many hours every day, go for this one. Also great saddle for training and competition.

The Lady Likes It
I will grant you that this replaced an original equipment seat that is a couple of years old and was not that great to start with; point being that the bar was not set all that high for expectations. Still, she likes this seat a great deal and after 3 decent length bike rides she is very content. She feels the center area could be a bit wider for ladies comfort if you were aiming at ladies. She is 5'10" and 125 lbs so not a lot of weight on the cushion and it's not the cushion itself which is firm but soft and yielding, she just noted that perhaps a touch wider in the center would take it to five stars for her and perhaps some other ladies. Still, she is more than content.

The wider Women’s model for this dude ...
I’m a 205 lb male who rides a 3 hour route 3 times a week on a road bike, hands on the hoods most of the time. I haven’t always taken such long rides, but discovered this favored route through trial and error over the past several weeks. It soon became apparent that my seat wasn’t up to the task. It is about 175 mm wide with just a feeble hint of a perineal channel. I found myself standing on the pedals more and more to escape perineal discomfort. Also, while feeling around with a free hand, I noticed that the outer portion of each buttock was somewhat unsupported. These observations led me to search for a seat width in the 200 mm vicinity which wasn’t overly thick vertically and which has a pronounced perineal channel. This seat, technically the Women's Moderate model, fits the bill perfectly. It is 195mm wide, very close to the 198mm specified on the Selle Royal website. The Men’s model, at 180mm wide, is no wider than my old seat which I was slightly overhanging on both sides (which I believe contributed to increased perineal load).I’m happy to report that at the end of my first 3 hour ride on this new seat this morning, I could have easily gone another hour. It felt odd for the first half of the ride because I wasn’t used to my sit bones bearing their share of the load. For the second half, however, I felt like I was happily perched upon a triangle-shaped donut. I just ordered a second one for my backup bike, a drop bar converted hybrid.UPDATE: Out of sheer curiousity, I rode my route a second time the same day. It took 3 1/2 hours this time. Same result: no perineal numbness or discomfort; only some chafing at the chamois seams. For the first time in years, I am contemplating a century route that I cycled twice before about ten years ago.In general, I would recommend that you buy a seat width in millimeters that corresponds to your weight in pounds. If, for example, I weighed 230 lbs, I would probably opt for the wider 223mm Relaxed model. Just bear in mind that the wider you go, the more upright you will potentially have to ride to avoid binding at the buttock-hamstring junction. That said, this new wider seat is still infinitely more comfortable than my older, narrower one when riding the drops. The pronounced perineal channel combined with seat width appropriate to one’s weight makes all the difference.

Feels great on long rides
Previous saddle was uncomfortable on rides over 15 miles. I did a 70 mile ride on this saddle. Your mileage may vary.

Awkward and uncomfortable
The seat felt like I was sitting - balancing - on two tennis balls. They are slightly cushioned but I constantly felt like my butt was slipping off them. The weirdest most awkward bike saddle I've ever sat on.

Not as comfortable
Not as cushy as I wished. I’m gonna try their float models.

Great seat
Went through several and stopped with this one. Very comfortable offroad on an e-mtb.

Les selles sont défectueuses dans le centre
J'ai acheté deux selles de vélo (selle royale) et le centre de ces selles s'est détaché. Je l'ai acheté fin août (28). Comment puis-je obtenir un remboursement ou un échange.

Immediate comfort!
This was a replacement saddle for my wife's Rocky Mountain Metro bicycle. She just kept saying "Wow" for her entire first ride. We are casual riders and this is the perfect saddle for that.

Mauvaise qualité de Selle Royal
Le gel de la selle sort de celle-ci en à peine deux ans après son utilisation pour un poids de cycliste normal.
