I planted an air plant in it and the entire planter just makes the most fun statement. The planter is indeed concrete and a solid weight. There is also a hole in the bottom ( yes ! ). I am definitely purchasing more from this seller.

As previous reviewers stated, the material is scratchy and not the most pleasant to handle. Definitely has the texture of concrete so be careful when dragging it across surfaces. I suspect because of this texture, it can scratch surfaces easily. There is a drainage hole which is always a huge plus. Other than that, this is an adorable pot. May have to buy it in white.

I bought 2 of these, gray and brown. I was expecting it to be a little more delicate, lighter with thinner walls. This pot is built like 12" a all-weather planter. It weighs about 3.5 pounds, and the walls are about 1" thick at nose level. It will hold the standard 4" nursery pot, (I put pebbles under the 3.5" pot to make it sit properly). I didn't believe it would be this much like concrete. Takes up more shelf space than I was expecting.Over all, I am thoroughly amused.

It’s a rough texture. It holds soil and it has a drainage hole. It does what it’s supposed too. I bought this in August 2021. And it still looks great! Would make a great gift!

Bought for some novelty in my succulent collection. Didn't break the bank and takes a 4" potted succulent very nicely.
