Fantastic home trainer with lots of training functions
Got this to train at home rather than paying high gym fees, I am really impressed with it, it is the real deal, a proper gym sized elliptical trainer made to the highest standard, the machine has lots of options depending on your capability, the fly wheel gives your legs and abs a great workout, I would recommend installing their app to set weight loss goals etc, the app works in conjunction with the elliptical to achieve desired goals, for example, gives you recommended training lengths each day.Overall I’m very happy and would highly recommend this trainer to anyone that is serious about losing weight at home.

Creaky & falling apart
Really disappointed in this huge machine. Initially it was great, but over a year later and its unuseable because it is so creaky and squeaky! The screws work off the handles when you use it so the whole thing feels so unstable. Can't get the covers off the lower joints to oil them so it is intolerably loud. A devastatingly huge waste of money.

Great Crosstrainer
I am enjoying using this Crosstrainer. But beware that if the base isn't screwed on tight, it does squeak. Once this was tightened, it's been a pleasure to use. Quiet morning workouts that don't make you feel self conscious.

A great crosstrainer! An excellent machine - Please read this review and see video attached!
The media could not be loaded. Bluefin Fitness CURV 3.0 Elliptical Cross Trainer - purchase price £579.23 in Nov 2020Please NOTE: I will review this machine not by comparing it with large commercial machines that cost thousands of pounds, but for what is suppose to be: a light, small, easy to store and cheap affordable elliptical house cross trainer!I’ve been researching ellipticals for a week, nonstop, before I bought this one, and I read and compared tens of cross-trainers on the internet. My first requirement was size, second the flywheel weight: I needed something small enough to fit in my storage, but that’s a problem as the small machines can be unsteady and not sturdy and they usually have very light flywheels, so I ended up buying this machine, I didn’t regret it. The price was initially £750 but after I bought, the price went down to £579.23, I cancelled and I bought it again and I saved some money. So, after 2 weeks of using the machine, here are my thoughts:1. ASSEMBLY: The machine comes most of it already assembled, it’s just the handles and the display that need assembling and it’s a one man job. The toolKit provided for set up is great and enough for a good sturdy assembly. It’s I would say, very easy to assemble however, it might not be for a non technical person of course. I am pretty techie person and I used the book just once to recognise some screws, the rest I did assemble the whole machine without the book.2. NOISE: The machine is really very QUIET, see video attached. I don't really understnd why some people are saying it's noisy! This machine is not noisy, I am actually surprised how quiert it is and to be honest I wish this was a bit more noisy as it feels like I am doing nothing while I am exercising! So 5 stars for noise! Of course, it has to be assembled properly and tight the screws really well, you need someone with strong hands to do that, if you don’t I guess it can squeak and make noise, mine doesn’t at all but I have to say that I did a good job on the screws and bolts.3. FLYWHEEL: It says 14 Kg and this is one reason I bought this machine, I don’t know if it's accurate as the entire machine is 65kg but the resistance level is really really hard, I use 13 and it’s really challenging, I can’t use the machine on maximum 24 level so it's more resistance than I need and I guess there are only the very strong pro people who might beat the resistance of this machine.4. DISPLAY: basic, simple, colourful, bright, pretty enjoyable, I personally like it, it is simple but it does the job and it shows what I need to see: time, hearth rate, calories / watts, distance, rotation per minute / km / h, resistance level. I have to say I do not use any training programs / modes, I only use Manual mode, I set the resistance myself and I run the machine, for half an hour, that’s it so I am very happy with the display which is a nice combination of colours: green, blue and yellow.5. RESISTANCE: this machine has 24 levels of resistance, I do not understand why it says 16 in the description! And it's more than enough!6. POWER: Self powered machine! I don’t understand why there is a power adapter mentioned in the description, this machine doesn’t need one, it’s self powered, once you start peddling the display is on, very quickly, at the first rotation!7. DESIGN / STURDINESS: Great design and really well built! This machine is very strong and very stable and it really feels like a much heavier machine, I am 1.89m tall and 95kg so I am pretty big but honestly the machine doesn’t move at all! It’s perfectly sturdy! I love it and I am really impressed!8. MANOEUVRABILITY: it can be moved around pretty easily using the front wheels, the only inconvenience is that, it doesn’t have a handle at the back to lift the machine, a let down from the designer!9. SIZE / WEIGHT: machine is really small in size, light and very sturdy I was impressed about sturdiness and weight, at 65 kg I expected this machine to wobbly but it does not, at all!10. PROGRAMS: I can’t say anything about this because I don’t use training programs, I train myself simply by setting the resistance level manually usually 17 in the Gym on commercial machines and 13 on this machine and I running the machine for half hour, that’s it.11. HEARTH RATE MONITOR: A BIG let down! I love the machine but the pulse monitor is totally unreliable and inaccurate, it’s really terrible! I don’t understand why!? It shows me a constant pulse of 75 to 90 that’s definitely incorrect, my usual average heart rate is 170 exercising for half hour at 65/68 rotations/minute on 13 resistance level and 600 calories achieved at the end. This is why I knocked down one star!!12. WATER BOTTLE: Water bottle support was not stipulated in the description, I didn’t know it had one, it was a bonus! It’s a bit low for me but I am really tall!!13. PEDALS: The distance in between the pedals is a bit too wide in my opinion, I sometimes step on the edge but not too often, but I guess they couldn’t be built closer as the machine had to be kept small in size and short, so the flywheel comes in the between the pedales, hence the distance is larger than other bigger ellipticals which have the wheel much further back or at the front. So apart from the heart rate monitor being very inaccurate (I don’t take it in consideration) and the missing handle at the back to lift the machine when moving it around I am really in love with this machine and for the price and what it supposed to be, I would say 5 STARS, brilliant!I knocked down one star because of the heart rate monitor!! So final rating is 4 stars. My final verdict is: A great cross-trainer! An excellent machine, highly recommended apart from the heart rate accuracy! I wouldn't pauy more than £550 - £600 maximum-----UPDATE: 3rd Jan 2021I am still in love with this machine, still very sturdy, quiet, efficient, not a sound; and yes, the heart monitor still the same, inaccurate!UPDATE: 2nd March 2021I am still in love with this machine, still very sturdy, quiet, efficient, not a sound; and yes, the heart monitor still the same, inaccurate, I wish it worked!Update 28th July 2023Still working great, no noise, smooth and really enjoyable - didn’t figure out yet what’s wrong with the heart rate monitor, don’t use it

Computer very poor
A bit of a blunt instrument. It works OK and feels sturdy enough although no match for similar equipment in a gym.The action /difficulty level is set too high. The computer has several functions that do not work properly and the calories burned function not at all.A bit disappointing really given the price.

Great machine better than the gym
I spent a bit of extra time putting it together, it was pretty straight forward and it’s very well made.Extremely happy with machine and service .

Excellent Cross trainer
I bought this to replace a less sturdy machine which had broken. After getting the Bluefin machine assembled I discovered that I wasn't actually fit enough to use it! But I persevered and worked up from 5 minutes a day to 30 mins per day! When I managed to get back out on my bike i discovered that someone had flattened all of the local hills! (That's what it felt like)I'd recommend this as a fitness aid but it really is only for those who want to get fit and who know that there are no shortcuts to that. Paul (aged 71)

Not worth £750!
This machine is £750 so I will review it as such. The most disappointing thing is that they advertise it has Bluetooth speakers when it does not. I exchanged emails with the manufacturer who said it was an honest mistake and they will correct it. However, a review from March 2021 shows they were also told back then but it's still there.Another issue is one of the footplates doesn't sit right no matter how tight the bolts are, which makes the machine noisy. The inner workings are silent, but it's no good if there is still clunking on the outside.I certainly would not recommend for the price of £750.Thankfully, Amazon are allowing me to return this even though I had already built it.
