I had a similar product from Trader Joe's which is no longer available. This product is similar but much more expensive. It has a nice flavor .

I ordered 2 Canoe Wild Rice Medley bags. Oddly enough, on arrival they were both double-bagged. As soon as I opened the outer bag, it became clear. Each original bag had a LARGE hole in the bottom of the bag and the rice was only confined due to the double bagging. So we know that the vendor KNEW about the holes in the bottom of the original bags and decided to add an additional outer bag so as to confine the rice. Of course, food items can't be returned; but this was a deliberate decision to, when the holes in the original bags were discovered, attempt to make the buyer accept the bags as is. Shame on you, Canoe! This is the last time I will order from you!

Thought rice was stale last time,it was not.

This may well be the same rice medley that Trader Joes sold but discontinued. Use as directed but add a packet of Herb Ox chicken sodium free bullion, and you have a great rice medley that's not bland or sticky. So glad to have found it.

I'm sure the rice is delicious and when I cook it I'll know since I can't return itWhen a bag of rice cost between 8 and $15 and I can buy it at the grocery store for $3 that's almost the identical same product I feel like I've been ripped off so I won't be buying this again
