The Game Cookbook

I really like the book and bought it once before for a friend. Although I won't make all of the dishes I will definitely do the deer and beetroot recipe which is great with fluffy mash potato.

Bought as gift, they were happy and enjoyed it so 5 stars.

Loved it. Even better than the condition, which was great by the way, was that it had been signed by both of them with a couple of pithy comments :-)

I,ve always been a bit wary of cooking game but now this book has changed all that. With each section there is a fascinating history of the game concerned which helps you to understand how the cooking methods evolved. The recipes and methods are clear and simple to follow and all seem to be based on how everyday country people would have cooked it.
