This review is for the blue interactive UFO style drone with large red/green/blue light in the middle. This one and all its features, as described in the product manual and description, work as advertised. ABS plastic is durable. Charge time is accurate about 30 minutes. Flight time is accurate, about 5-8 minutes. Calibration mode works. Switching from high to medium speed and back again works. Having the drone do a 360 flip works as advertised. Unit working with all features above for multiple days.... Note, another family member purchased three cheap "knock offs" from another merchant and another vendor (not Amazon) and all three experienced problems wtihin one day of opening, and none of the three had working features as described in their manuals. Not this drone. This is a good one.

It spins while it flies and flashes colored lights, darts around the room and up and down while avoiding obstacles all by itself. You can steer it by moving your hand (or any other object) close to make it move away. If this isn't enough it can even flip or be set to go faster. Can be enjoyed by any age, even toddlers and infants could join in, but younger children will need help charging the battery. The battery is my only quibble with the construction which otherwise is excellent for a toy of this type. To charge the battery you must open the compartment on the bottom, separate the connector and plug the battery into the charger connecter. When charging finishes you jam the battery and wires back into the tight compartment and force lid back into place. It's good that the battery is replaceable but this is no fun and likely to be the first thing to break. Speaking of the battery, I didn't time it but it flies for a reasonable time and recharges in about 30 minutes. The company even says they will send a free spare battery in exchange for this review.

I am writing to say I like the product I bought so far, works so far as ordered, the only thing it's missing is an extra battery, which I wish I could get another one or where to buy one.anyways so far I like the product.the only thing I noticed is it doesn't spin all the time, which kinda makes it crash into things, but I don'tknow if that is normal or not, but still works ok..and I'm satisfied with it..thank you,Eugene Richterhere is what I bought from Amazon

These things were super cool in the beginning. My 3 kids and my husband loved it, however, it can only run for about 10mins. However, that's not the biggest issue. I don't mind the frequent charging of the battery if my kids enjoy it. The main issue is durability. My kids played with it for 20mins and now the quadcopter just doesn't behave correctly after a few hits to the ground.I bought 2 of them and both quadcopters are unusable. I wouldn't recommend them to your kids unless they're super gentle, have a dedicated robot to charge them after 10mins of use, and your floors are as a soft as clouds.

Bought 3 for my grandsons, and the week before Christmas, one would not come on. I plan to return it, but ordered another one right away and received a HORRIBLE little drone from an entirely different company (even though I reordered through the “buy again” option). I never was able to get it to work. Pathetic workmanship and had to get a magnifying glass to read the instructions. So only two of my grandsons have drones now, as I am reluctant to reorder. Both of them are working fine.

The box shows 4 sensors on the sides, but the device came with only 2 sensors on the sides. At first it flew nicely, but then began to fly erratically. Flying fast and banging into walls. I bought six of these from different companies for Christmas gifts. This one was more expensive. They all worked as advertised except this one. The others all had the correct number of sensors and flew well. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that this drone indeed only has two sensors on the sides and one on the bottom. The description given doesn’t mention the number of sensors, but the box shows four and the drone has two spots that obviously were made for the missing two.

I love this drone! I saw and held a number of other similar things over the past couple years, but I chose this one because it doesn't look junky (and it's not!); it looks pretty cute with its nice shade of only one color in a matte finish (nice to parents' eyes), and the plastic is just the right compromise between durable and flexible. It's lightweight, but not flimsy. We have 4 children and this drone has seen nearly constant play for days, and it doesn't hurt anything, and it's still in perfect condition. It can bump into literally anything and there is no damage to either the drone or the object (or person, haha!). It's a little noisy if you're a captive audience cooking in the kitchen while your kid's flying it all around you...but in the next room not bothersome. I'd recommend this, and plan to buy these as my go-to gifts for birthday parties this year.

Does it fly? Yes. Does it rotate? Yes. Do the lights work? Yes. Does it avoid walls and objects? Yes, for the most part. Can you interact with it? Only if you are 7 feet tall. I have 18' ceilings in my great room. This thing flies around at about 10'. You can't reach it, so you have to wait for the battery to die before it lands. It looks like fun, but no one in our family is tall enough to play with it.
