Big dog’s favorite toy for rough play! EDITED—not durable
*** EDIT: My first few experiences were like my initial review (below) but subsequent purchases tore up quickly. The hard plastic base tears up quickly and becomes a choking hazard, breaking into shards of hard plastic. I removed the entire base and let him play with the rubber-like top and rope until that started breaking apart, too. Don’t let your dog play with it unsupervised. ***My GSD who loves to play hard, absolutely loves this toy. It’s his favorite! I’m about to buy it for the 4th or 5th time because after he tears one up, he has to have a replacement fast. Considering how rough he is with it, I think it’s durable. I just take it away when he breaks the hard plastic on the bottom—for safety reasons. It usually lasts a month or so before I have to replace it, but he plays with it every day, so I think it’s worth it.

If you WANT to waste your money, buy this for your dog.
First off, we ALWAYS supervise play with our dog when it comes to her toys. She's a 70lb pit bull and we have to. I will attest to this fact, NOT every toy we have bought her has been completely destructible. We've bought a few toys for her that really took a beating and kept up their end of the bargain. Some of them we even bought at Wmart?!Yeah! Who would've thought that walking into the store, you could pick up a toy and take it home to your dog and it would last for over a year of continued abuse?! So, here's the deal with the -GLIDER- We did the pea sized amount on the bottom of the toy with the (pure) coconut oil and wiped it around. It didn't really glide and she decided, because she's a pitbull, that she wanted to grab the thing by the rope and sling it EVERYWHERE!! We were moving our legs all over the place to avoid a shot to the shin.Lainey likes to find the squeaker in toys as well when she's found one exists. So, she starts pouncing on this thing relentlessly and she was going "loco Lainey" mode, so my fiance took it away from her and gave her one of her chew bones to calm down. Later on that evening, he initiated play again with the new toy and Lainey went crazy again (she does love new toys) but in my opinion, the glider needed to be made BIGGER for dogs like my Lainey. The glider to me was more meant for a very medium to small dog.Lainey technically really isn't a "medium" sized dog in her attitude, stamina, or size. I really wished it had been more sturdy and lasted at least 2 weeks for her as she liked slinging the damned thing everywhere and I think what made her lose it, was when she wanted the squeaker, and she then tore the glider to its demise.

Not as Sturdy as I Thought It Would Be!
Zeke was able to chew pieces off of this! He doesn’t eat the pieces. He just chews them off and spits them out. He really like the toy but it would be shredded into pieces if I didn’t watch him and take it away once he starts biting pieces off. I would like to offer Zeke as a test animal for these so called indestructible toys for aggressive chewers because my doggie is the real deal, 🤣😂😂

It's okay
Purchase this toy because my dog loves to slide her empty food dish along the floor. Figured this was a way to have her play but leave her food dish alone. The toy works as described and my dog had a ball with it. The problem is with the rope attached to the disc. Within 30 minuts, she had chewed through the rope. It can still be used and she is carrying the disc around by the broken ends of the rope. I kind of think that a better, more sturdy rope is needed for this toy. My dog doesn't usually destroy her toys, even though she's a big chewer. So I was surprised that the rope was so easily chewed through.I'm not going to return it because she does like it and can still play with it but buyers should be aware that this rope can be easily chewed through.

Great toy, but not strong enough
I recommend this product for a dog that enjoys interactive play.. I purchased the same item, without the rope from Christmas Tree Shop for $8.00. My Cane Corso loves this toy. He pushes it with his mouth across the floor. The 1st one I purchased was destroyed by Tyson. At $8.00, a great deal, but this time payed more than twice the price and he has already torn the plastic on it. Looking forward to one that is tough enough for my Cane Corso

Puppy is obsessed with this toy!
my puppy absolutely loves it!! Only wish the bottom was softer and glided better and wish it would stay soft. Bottom got weird scratched up after just the first day and now doesn’t glide as good.. but could be an easy fix🤷♀️And puppy is still obsessed regardless lol. So far hasn’t scratched the floors yet either so that’s a plus too😉

Sturdiness 3/5 fun 5/5
Very fun! The dogs loved it and if I only let the small one play with it, it would likely still be in good shape. The big dog took the rope out in a couple of minutes so I would not say it is very sturdy but it is a lot of fun and both of them continue to play with it even though it is broken

Fun but not for chewers
I give this 3 stars because it was fun to watch my pup play with it for a fun 30 minutes. It shuffles around really well on the floor. He had so much fun. But he’s a year old Dalmatian and an aggressive toy chewer. 1st went the rope. (He ran around carrying it in his mouth for a bit then the rope was no longer. No biggie... cut it off). Then he went for it. The yellow material didn’t stand a chance. Oh well. I’d give it 5 stars for enjoyment. But for aggressive chewers, don’t bother. (Kinda sad. It really was fun watching him with this!)

Wish I'd read the reviews first!
This is a piece of expensive rubbish. I have much cheaper dog toys which are far sturdier. My little dog destroyed the rope in no time at all. It hardly glides on carpet, and doesn't induce any pouncing in my dog. I would have returned it for a refund , but too late - - she'd chewed the rope. The blurb in the package says that this is not a chew toy, but give me a dog that isn't going to immediately pick up a new toy and investigate it by chewing. A tennis ball for a few pence glides along the floor perfectly and is not easily destroyed by her chewing!!I feel disappointed and angry at such a waste of money. Would have given it no stars if possible.

Waste of money
I have bought 4 of these now each time it has taken my dog less time to chew it open and expose the babble tubes. These are meant to be indestructible.. Afraid not and can cause nasty cuts when chewed.. Waste of money
