Fantastic Book!
This second edition includes useful new information, gorgeous photos, and an extensive bibliography and list of museums that have collections of southwestern pottery. The authors are very knowledgeable and quite humorous, which makes the book a fun read as well as informative. Even though I already own the first edition, this updated edition was worth purchasing. The book arrived in great condition and on the day promised by the seller.

Beautifuly photographed
They cover comprehensiively the last 140 years from A to Z, they really do! This is a wonderful book for any collector or aspiring collector. It's way beyond informative, if you collect Southwestern Pottery you will wear it out as a reference. The authors own every pot pictured, they get it.

Perfect for a collector, especially a newbie.
Very readable, enjoyable and informative. Not a deep scholarly encyclopedia, but very helpful for collectors, especially those of us who are new to pueblo pottery and the different styles.

Buy this before you get into this area...
...then buy several more books on these pots.I bought the first edition and it was a nice introduction to a complex area. The second is well worth the investment.

I’m sorry I purchased this book.
I was hoping for more details about the individual, specific types of pottery so I could identify my mother’s pieces.
