Heart Beat Puppy Behavioral Aid Toy (heartbeat)

Our new puppy loves this and settles very quickly to go to sleep at night. Good battery life and great price. Very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased to try help my puppy sleep of an evening, it didn't help he wasn't magically settled however use it now during the day to keep him off the sofa and it keeps him happy whilst he is in the same room as us. Very sweet looking. And so far very durable no damge done to it yet, it's a good size for a puppy

They arrived quickly, I was pleased as they were nice and soft. However trying to remove the “ beater” was difficult in one and the zip broke off, the other was fine and is very soothing for the pup .I put it in the crate when we went to collect him, he snuggled up to it with a blanket that he was used to and slept the whole journey .It’s now in his cage with an electric under blanket and he has been fast asleep in between playing. He is 8 weeks old. I highly recommend these, although cannot comment on the durability yet!Good price too. Such a shame the zip failed on one .They take Two AA batteries. You can turn them on and off .The heat pack I haven’t used , they are not reusable., so can’t comment on those.

Bought as a gift ahead of friend’s new puppy’s arrival. Lovely plush toy, nice ‘invisible’ Velcro opening for the heart. Easy to open and insert the battery into the heart - I had to return the one I bought first (different maker and design) because that one was impossible to open.Heartbeat is audible but not too loud.UPDATE: pup absolutely loves it!

Worked perfectly for the first few weeks. But we're on week 8 of using it and despite changing batteries, the heart doesn't beat.Also false advertising, it says a big button for easy use. We have a small heart with a small button (size of a fingertip) so not always easy to press and hold for 5 seconds.My dog hasn't been rough with the toy either. Just snuggles up at night time. So no idea what caused the heart to stop beating.

Brought for my Shitzu but she didn’t like the heartbeat liked to cuddle up without the breathing but has now put a hole so now can’t have it

We adopted a 15yr old rescue cat, who loves to be near you or sits on your chest in bed. It’s the rhythm of your heartbeat and breathing they love, so I got one of these as comfort when we go out sometimes as he does like people the be around. I got this one as my mum n dad got one for when they got a new puppy last year. My mum n dads one is still working. This one I bought stopped working after 4wks. I tried new batteries but still nothing, so has to return it. I would gladly give it 5 stars if it had carried on working as the heartbeat is really soft and gentle like a regular heartbeat. Unlike one I tried previous made the whole bed vibrate it was so loud and completely unnatural. As with anything new cats are really fussy as they have really sensitive noses to new smells. I found that when giving the cat fusses and he rubbed the side of his face and cheeks on my hand whilst in the bed and the lamb was near I was stroke the lamb too to transfer the scent from my cats face cheeks so he would feel more comfortable with it and not seem so alien to him. He took to it straight away which you can see from the photos. We’ve often found him laying his head on it and sleeping on it, or resting his paw on it. Just a shame it stopped working and I had to go to all the hassle to send it back, otherwise gladly 5 stars.

My 8 week old puppy sleeps no where else but next to (or on top of) this stuffed animal. With a faint heart beat pulsing, I feel the toy calms her down and she sleeps through the night every night without crying. A great purchase!

We bought this 1 year ago. And she loves it. It has been loved to death. We really need to get her a new one as soon as my hubby gets a job.

Watching our kids dog while they are out of town and she gets very anxious so we thought this would help. The heart beat was a little frightening to her but she loves sleeping right next to it in her crate at night.

I like this toy but didn't realize it needed 2 AA batteries to work and they of course run out very quickly so what you save in the initial cost, you will pay for in battery replacement. Otherwise a nice looking and comfortable toy.
