See my photos - different from advertised. Snakeskin is a printed leather on top of a black band that goes all around the hat. Size is luck of the draw. I got two medium hats. This one fit perfectly, if not a little roomy. Other medium was too small - given to my kids. Other than that, hat is well constructed, seems like genuine leather and looks like it'll hold up well. Wire in rim makes the shape adjustable and stay in place. Good value given price point, but wish photos were more like reality.

I bought a small thinking it would fit as i am quite short and I am a small in most things. But the small on this was small. I strongly recommend you follow the measurement instructions and size guide. After buying the small at it was too small i returned it with ease and bought the medium. Great and easy to return. The hat now i have the right size is really good quality I have been complimented on wearing by loads of people. it is a really good quality hat.

Very well made. Stitching is even and in a couple of points it's double stitched. Sweat band sewn into the front of hat lining. Nice touch. Brim is about 2 1/2 inches on each side and back, and 3 inches in front. Haven't tried to change the brim roll or angle. Like it just the way it is. For the price, a handmade leather hat that fits just like they said is crazy good. Haven't tried to brush the suede yet. Seems a little short napped. But it is water resistant. They been making hats since I graduated high school in 1969. They got it right.

I really don’t know why people give bad reviews when products showed up damaged. That’s the freight company’s fault, not the product or manufacturer.As for the hat, I’m genuinely astonished at how good it is for the price that I paid. I don’t think it’s full grain or top grain leather, but it’s a leather hat and it’s pretty well-made. It looks great; it fits great; it inspires me to rope and ride.Highly recommended!
