Because, like this bone head, leaving the original on the tank topper and heading out is a stupid thing to do, and I hope no one ran over it! It's a little light weight but works just fine and worthy to be purchased. It should be a different color than the tank covers so I painted my handle with white stripes! I hope I don't repeat why I needed it in the first place!

My original Equal-i-zer pry bar got misplaced . . .I ordered this one . . . using the brand name, it has to be as good as the original, right?HORRIBLE soft steel! The edges of the pry tool peeled away in use -- this is super soft material!The original had been with me for FIVE YEARS. While the original showed some wear-and-tear from using it on at least monthly trips, this one shows more wear than the original after ONE USE.It isn't quite as soft as aluminum, but it is softer than any tool steel should be. If this lasts a year without bending or breaking, I will be amazed.

I bought a used hitch that did not come with this tool. I was using pry bars and the electric tongue Jack to lift my truck and felt that it was dangerous and excessively hard on the jack to lift to extremely heavy and high.After getting this I can safely and easily lift some with the lack and use this to safely hook in and cam over the weight distribution bars.Way more safe and much less abusive. This honestly is a must have tool.

I lost the original bar that came with my distribution hitch. So I needed a new one. Shopped around and found this to be the best deal. After it arrived I installed it together which is really simple. The handle is hallow, my original was solid. It works and the quality is decent. Nothing compared to the original but my fault for losing it. Will get the job done and hopefully I won't have to buy another one.

The picture shows a grip and longer bar. This isn’t going to help me at all. Where’s the rest of the tool as seen in their picture?

I read some reviews about people only receiving one piece instead of two but I received both parts and it feels pretty solid. I haven't needed to use it yet but it feels like a good quality tool. I will update if I have any issues with it once I use it but I am pretty confident it will work as expected.

This made all the difference for me being able to hook up the equalizer hitch for my travel trailer. I'm a small woman, and this gave me a ton of leverage that I didn't have before. Love this product!!

Lifesaver...lost my OEM leaving it on the propane tanks before driving off. This one actually works better than the OEM!
