I bought these big boys to use as emergency candles, they should work great
I bought a four pack of these big boys to use as emergency candles, they should work great in this role, they each have a 142-hour burn time which means for emergency use they should last many years if used judiciously and with care. ad says "WICK: Smokeless, 100% cotton lead-free wicks. Unscented candles pillar". so they should be very low soot producing and low odor.

Arrived Cracked and damaged
Before opening the box I knew something was wrong because I could hear lots of loose material moving around inside the box when I turned it over. When I examined the contents 3 of the 4 candles were cracked and layers of paraffin was peeling off. The base of the candles were very rough and uneven. The shrink-wrap from three of the four was laying in the bottom of the box so I suspect that this was a returned order from a previous customer.
