Almost as good as a garage
If any of us had a choice we'd be storing our bikes in a temperature controlled garages with motion detectors and security cameras, but we can't. I was a bit uneasy about leaving my bike out in the wild but this cover definitely put my mind at ease.Very thick and durable material, heavier than every other cover I've seen. Water repellant, the water beads right off and my bikes are always dry. Dust proof? I live in southwest Kansas. Dust gets everywhere, I can't expect the cover to be 100% perfect. It seems heat resistant, as good practice i don't throw it on right after a long ride.It also has a strap that clips underneath the bike to keep the wind from billowing it up as well as rubber/heavy duty sewn holes to strap it down further if you so wish it. So far the highest winds I've seen it get to are 50 mph w/60mph gusts and the bike stayed put.It also has two holes that sit on the front of the bike near the front tire to loops a security chain or lock through to keep the cover from being so easily taken off the bike by unwanted guests.I purchased this and another one for my Honda Cb750 and my KLR which was an adv size. The sizing is near perfect. For sizing check Dowcos website as they have a full list of bikes on there. It does take a while to get used to putting the cover on but with practice makes perfect. I'd test the true heat resistance of the cover but don't want to potentially damage it just for the sake of curiosity nor melt anything onto my bikes exhaust. These are definitely worth the price and the investment.

Fantastic cover, durable and strong
I bought this cover to replace a cheapo dust cover I bought a few months ago because my little scooter stays outdoors. It fits my Vespa LX150 (with a top box!) PERFECTLY. I bought the Medium. It is incredible quality and looks like it will last for years and years. The elastic is strong and feels like it will retain its springyness. The material is thick, yet the cover can fold down to fit in the storage under my seat. The zip case is a nice addition, just stuff the cover in and take it with you if you need to. It is also easy to fit/place, because it has a tag that tells you which side is the Front. Very convenient and quick.I also bought a python lock to secure this cover and it works perfectly. I have peace of mind now, knowing my Vespa is covered, safe, and well protected!Only time will tell how this actually holds up to the weather in San Francisco. My last cover was awful and caused some of the metal on the scooter to rust from the light drizzle that occurs at night.

I was amazed at the fit
I have a 1978 Honda CB750F which I have owned since new, but have to store outside. Needless to say, I have gone through a number of covers. Either they are too big, or too small, and none of them really lasted more than two years, even the expensive HD ones. The current cover I bought last year already had holes and rips, so, needed a cover before a 2 month trip abroad. Didn't want to go back to Pep Boys or the other local car part stores and needed it fast. Found this cover on Amazon and the filter indicated that it would fit my bike. I was amazed at the fit, like it was custom made. The cover went down around both tires and the tie clip on the bottom buttoned it up where it was almost fully sealed. It has a soft pad for a windshield which I do not have, but it drapes over my gauges nicely. The inside of the cover looks like a rubber membrane and there is a vent on top to let any water to evaporate. I haven't had it long enough to see if it will survive a harsh winter and summer, but it looks well made. Not expecting superior wear but it is off to a good start. After all, it's just a cover. But the tight fit will undoubtedly reduce any wind flutter causing excessive wear and the complete coverage will help to keep out leaves and debris from blowing under the cover. Expensive, but I have to say, it is the best cover I had purchased so far for this bike for fit and function.

Nice cover, seems durable
I bought this Guardian to replace another that is a number of years old. I've had my '92 Honda Nighthawk 750 for 6 years and I believe the gentleman who had it before me had that cover for a very long time. It started to rip and ducted tape wasn't cutting it anymore. This cover looks exactly the same, but is lighter weight than the one it replaced. The plastic parts for the strap to secure also seem cheaper than my previous one. Hopefully it holds up well. I do not have many doubts on that though. It fits my bike perfectly. I would say this is the cover you want for your bike if you are storing it outside. The other thinner ones are nice if you need to take something for covering time to time.

Falls apart in the sun
I bought this cover because of the great reviews. I was previously using a cheaper cover and I wanted to upgrade to something a little more substantial. Huge mistake! The glue on the seam tape melted all onto my brand new bike and, most infuriatingly, all over my leather seat. They claim this is an all-weather cover. However, if you plan on using this cover OUTSIDE WHERE THE SUN IS, it will mess up your bike.To add insult to injury, their warranty process is a pain and involves sending them both a piece of the cover and $10. The process supposedly takes 2 weeks, so now I’ll have to find a different way to cover my bike for two weeks I suppose. In the warranty process they also ask you to subscribe to their newsletter. Great! That’s not going to happen.A cheaper cover would have been the right way to go, in my opinion. Avoid this cover.

Great protection for $75 bucks!
Initially thought I got the wrong size (Medium) for my FZ-09, but it was just that I was used to the thin crappy $20 cover from Walmart that fell over the bike like a Moo Moo. This cover actually fits on the bike nicely once I took the time to put in on correctly. Much heavier materials than the cheapo crap ones and very well constructed. Just got two severe storms passing through with small hail and the cover protected by baby perfectly. Dry as a bone and not even a tiny ding from the dime sized hail. If it lasts as well as other reviews say it does this should also be a great value!I highly recommend this over cheaper covers as the intense sun just shreds the cheaper covers and they lose their water repelling abilities in just a few months.

Durable and fit perfectly (stock Sportster 883)
I didn't want to review too soon without using it for a few months. I needed waterproof and easy to secure on and off. I'm in a colder part of Canada (Montreal) so the in-between seasons spring and fall (before and after winter storage) it's important to have good protection from nasty weather. It can get pretty wet, windy, cold.I park my Sportster on the street in the downtown area, so you don't want the cover to be too obvious how to remove easily or it will possibly get stolen. This cover secures underneath the bike and you can tie weird knots with the excess belt once tightened. It's not going anywhere.I really, really like this product. It checks ALL of the boxes. Great value for money because it fits and protects my bike perfectly!

Great quality! Make sure you get the right size for your motorcycle!
I got the SP model for my Yamaha XSR700; I highly recommend you go go to the Dowco website to search for your motorcycle, and make sure of fitment because these fit tight! Honestly for my bike, the SP size (aka Medium size) fits very tight and it's a bit of a chore to put on the bike; there's no loose fabric, everything's pretty stretched and a tight fit when on, but I think that's the idea! As a result water really drips down, after downpours my bike is perfectly dry, and the little venting enclosure lets air out in order to combat condensation.A bit pricey, should honestly be around $80 to be considered an incredible value, but the quality is definitely well above what you find at big box stores.Just make sure you have the right model for your motorcycle and you won't regret your purchase!

Okay
Seems pretty study and waterproof so far. I am just not sure of the fit. The guide identified medium for my Yamaha VStar 650, and yes, it fits the length, but the fit is not that good on the upper body of the bike. As a result, it is loose and baggy in areas, and water pools in the folds for the poor fit.

Absolutely amazing
Fits perfectly, and is heavy duty I like it a lot. Even though it's a motorcycle cover I used it for my dirt bike and it's still a very good fit. The tarp itself looks cool too xD I haven't used it for winter yet though.
