Helly-Hansen Women's Moss Hooded Waterproof Windproof Raincoat

I decided to try this rain jacket as I had been very pleased with my Helly Hansen zip front fleece. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that it is the perfectly designed rain jacket. I needed it for my morning walks as it is too difficult to carry an umbrella. The medium was a perfect fit. There is plenty of room for a heavy sweater, fleece or jacket underneath. ( I am 5'3'' and 125 lbs) The pockets are roomy and designed so that water cannot enter. The sleeves are extra long so that your hands or gloves stay dry. The hood works well with an extra overhang and easily adjusted strings to tighten the hood around your head. The coat has a sturdy zipper as well as snaps, whichever is your preference. The fabric feels soft and supple instead of stiff as I thought it might be. I love the yellow color which is so visible on dark mornings. My hope is restored to find a product where thought was put into design and function! I highly recommend this totally waterproof coat! I love it!

Needed this waterproof jacket for walking my dog in the rain… and this definitely keeps me dry! The unlined jacket has big inside pocket for my cellphone, and two outer pockets cleverly constructed to ensure pocket contents stay dry as well. Hood is large enough to fit over my rain hat and front zipper comes up far enough to keep my neck dry in blowing rain. The sleeves have two snaps for tightening the cuff around your wrist. Front zipper is protected, sturdy, and the jacket’s fit/drape/cute design is becoming. The rubbery fabric is lightweight.It would feel a bit better when wearing if it was lightly lined but unlined is not uncomfortable. (Fleece lining is too heavy for summer wear.) The snaps at ends of sleeves are NOT reinforced with sturdy fabric; repeatedly pulling them apart may cause the snaps to tear, so be careful.

What a great raincoat! It was rainy and very windy in Iceland and this coat kept me dry. Wore it over my black winter coat.It’s color was a bright spot amidst the dreary winter landscape. Our tour guide can always spot me 😀

I work on a horse farm in all weather so I was looking for something waterproof, sturdy and comfortable. This fit the bill. It’s stretchy so it moves with you, keeps you dry in a downpour and wipes clean with a towel. Lightweight so when it’s warm out I wear a tank top underneath, when it’s colder there’s plenty of room to fit a sweatshirt.Only negative on this product are the snaps on the wrists don’t stay snapped but not a deal breaker.

Exactly what I was looking for. I was between a medium and large. Ordered medium. Arm length perfect just a bit tight across chest with a sweater on. I think large would have been too big. I am usually a size 10

I have bought a lot of expensive performance rain coats over the years and this one is different. Actually quite supple and not plastic. Quieter than many others. It is hot and would benefit from pit zips but it will keep you dry in a blizzard. I went with the large to have room for layers but it is too big - should have gone with the medium.

The price is right! Love the light weight but yet dry warmth on a rainy summer night. Fit was right and color as expected.

I was afraid it was too big but after adjusting the sleeve buttons and tightening the waist area its fine...i don't like things too snug so I went with xl.Haven't tried it in the rain yet .
