I am very happy with my purchase. The ingredients are perfect, so unnecessary fillers or additives, and the flavor is awesome! I normally have to go to Trader Joes to find corn tortillas like this, so I am ecstatic. Hilariously, I thought I was ordering about 6 packets for a total of maybe 60 tortillas. Nope. I now have about 28 packs, 300 tortillas to eat. 😂 luckily we have plenty of people to share with. Highly recommend.

Let me resolve the “sturdiness“ rating of four stars. I didn’t want sturdiness for what I was working with. To me, these created a perfect chip, although I feel quite certain my liquid cheez sauce will probably make them chewier faster than a solid white corn tortilla. In other words, they aren’t sturdy, but I don’t want them to be because of how light and crunchy they get.Because I eat whole food, plant-based, I specifically look for tortillas just made with corn, water, and have leftover lime from when the corn was being softened. I then take the tortillas, cut them into six triangles, and bake them until they get crunchy. This is what I use for my tortilla chips in all my recipes, because we need to avoid as much sodium and fat as possible for personal reasons.Because of this, I have to buy my 6 inch tortillas in bulk and spend about an hour every 2 to 3 weeks making tortilla chips. El Milagro was the first product to come up that had the amount of tortillas I usually use for some reason. I’m so glad they did! I can’t say enough about how these tortillas baked up for the chips. They have just the right corn taste, and you even can taste some slight sweetness and nuttiness. I don’t know if they use different corn than other manufacturers or not, but I was really, really impressed.
