KangolTropic Ventair Spacecap Hat - Mykonos Blue/XXL Baseball & Sport Caps

This is a great hat that "breathes" and allows air to circulate around your head. It is very comfortable. and looks good. I normally wear an x-large in a Kangol, of which I've had many, but many reviews said that this hat runs small. My experience is that this hat runs true to size. That is, if you normally wear an x-large in other Kangol hats, then you will also want an x-large in this Kangol space cap style. If you wear hats made by other manufacturers, then you may need to try on a Kangol hat to find your Kangol size. Once you know your Kangol size, it won't change in any radical way from style to style as long as you stay with the Kangol line of hats. No one compensated me for this review in any way, but I'm tired of reviewers comparing Kangol with other brands and expecting the sizes to be the same from brand to brand, or acquiring new hair styles and blaming the hats for not fitting "according to size". Compare a Kangol hat with another Kangol hat and you'll see and feel that the sizing is more or less the same even in Kangol hats purchased years apart, as in my case.

I have several Kangol hats including a couple of their traditional baseball caps and the Kangol Tropic 504. I saw this baseball style cap with the same material and texture of the Tropic 504 and ordered a XL/XXL in it. I wear a Xl/XXL in all flex style fitted caps and some of those are even small on me. In regular hat size, I wear a 7 3/4. This Tropic Ventair Space Cap, lacking any structure, is a major problem if you're bald like me. The top/crown dented down onto my head. I tried it on and put it back in the box to send back. The picture shows some structure to it, but there is zero structure. It will lay flat on your head if you are bald.I really like the hat and the Tropic Ventair material, but unless they add some structure to it, it's not good for bald guys. Also, the size was a little big on me. The temples, where most hats are snug on me, had a good 1/4" or more of space between the hat and my face.

very cool hat. the only thing i dont like is that its way too shallow. the hat comes just above my ears. looks small and stupid on me and i dont have a big head. tried to return it but seller wanted $20 to ship it back. 20 to ship a 30 dollar hat? no thanks ill keep it..

Hate to say it but my husband has a large head and it is difficult for him to find hats that fit well. He bought his first Kangol hat while we were on vacation and just raved about it. I bought him this one for Father's Day and he is so pleased. I am buying him more in every color. When you find something you like you stick with it.

i’m 7-5/8 hat size with a round head, and the one-size-fits-all snap back caps simply don’t fit even with a strap extender. the xxl kangol fits perfectly, they’re cool in summer, and they’re durable. my first one is three years old, worn almost every day 3 seasons each year, and is still going strong. if you’ve got a fat head like me, this hat works great!-)

This is a perfect summer hat. It is TOTALLY mesh (not just the ventilated ring you can see) but you really can't tell by looking at it when it's being worn. Air passes through it like you wouldn't believe. VERY comfortable. Size is as you would expect and quality seems to be great. I don't know how long it will last (because I will probably be wearing it every day for the next 6 months), but if it wears out or gets damaged I will definitely buy another one.

I had purchased a blue one a few years ago from you all and it fits great. It was an extra large. But this black one that I recently bought from you all does not fit the same. It is way to high around my head. The blue is down closer to my ears… in fact, just below the top of my ears . It would be great for a new one for free with the same fit consider I wasted my money.

I love this hat and I'm very particular what I wear. Fits better than expected, feels great. I have quite a few hats but this one is now my favorite. I always say if you know you are wearing a hat then the fit and style isn't quite right. I forget I'm even wearing this hat! I bought a black one and after I wore it I went a bought a white one! Very highly recommended.

Hubby has a small head and finds most caps are either too big, or have useless adjustment tapes at the back. As these are sized they fit perfectly, this is the third one he has. Really pleased with the quality too.

Over the last few years a lot of the hats I've bought have changed colour due to my sweat - very strange as I have caps from over a decade ago that don't do that. I've had two of these Kangol hats for over a year and they've both remained in perfect condition with no sweat marks at all. Highly recommended! I now just keep buying every colour that comes out and not bothering with any other caps at all.

I have a small head so ordered the small but it was tight. I tried the next size up and it seemed to fit the same. Was going to order large but thought it could have been pointless due to the lack of difference in sizee previously.

Nice looking baseball cap with small holes /vents for airflow as seen in the picture. I was looking for a cap that would allow some airflow and not keep my head in a sauna; this cap works for me.
