Great scent, not overpowering.... Takes a few weeks to get because it's shipped directly from Japan, but well worth the wait. By the way, the staff is great and they will return your emails !!

Baieido Bikou Kobunboku Japanese Incense - 160 Sticks: I've been having some sensitivity to the regular Kobunboku incense, which I burn in a smaller space, so I ordered the low-smoke version. It's is a lot less irritating, and the smell is nice, not powdery. You do have to be gentle with the low and no smoke incense, or it will snap.

The box has a great patchouli scent but the incense sticks themselves smell a bit like B.O. when you first light them and then they smell like burning paper. I was really hoping for that patchouli scent.

I've burned through one box and ordered a second because this incense is perfect for my morning meditations.

I was so excited to get this order. I waited about 5-6 weeks. It was beautifully packaged but it smells like bad body odor. If it was just a smell I didn't like much, I could give it away. But in this case, sour under-arm odor will only offend. I'm bummed out about this purchase. :(

Best Incense EVER

I have purchased these incense before and enjoyed their sent and the fact that they emit far less smoke than regular incense. I found the incense that I received to be stale. They were not packaged in plastic as my previous purchase was and because of that, I believe they were not brand new.
