ColumbiaColumbia Basin Trail Chairs (Tension Chair, Blue)

I was looking for something a little sturdier than the bag chairs and this chair fit the bill! It was a little hard to lock into place at first, but after the first few times of using it, it locks into place just fine now. The 2 cup holders are also nice since I usually have my cup and my child's cup to hold onto. Since the back is mesh, it doesn't get hot when sitting for long periods of time (WI summers) but is a little chilly when it starts to cool down. This chair is great! My grandma steals it anytime we are together because it is so comfy and helps with her sciatic. She will be getting one for Christmas 😂

I like to kick back in the garage on my alley on sunny afternoons with a beer and a cigar. If you need to find your favorite place to hang out for a while and unwind, this lightweight, easy to carry chair is just what you need to give you a comfortable place to sit once you get there.

Good chair/ bag strap broke after couple months

I purchased this chair last fall to use at my daughter’s soccer games. Over that time, I used the chair maybe 15-20 times for around an hour each time. The chair is rated for up to 300 lbs and I weigh 178 lbs. The chair has been great up until recently. During my last use, I was just sitting in the chair and two of the rivets broke on the left side making the chair unusable. I contacted the seller, who said I needed to contact Amazon, who said I needed to contact the seller, so I’m getting nowhere. For an $80 chair, I would expect better quality and customer service.

I am a big guy (260lbs + ) and this chair is the best outdoor chair I have ever sat in. Fully supports my weight; folds up to a good size with a carry bag; drink holders; and comfortable. 5 stars. Great product !!

I purchased this as a gift for my dad in hopes that he would retire his ratty old folding chair. He's an outdoorsy type fella and is a fan of Columbia products so this seemed to be a perfect fit. The chair is lightly padded in all the right places and the mesh back keeps those of us who naturally run hot comfortable on the hottest of days. Overall, great present and I believe I succeeded in retiring his old chair with one he can enjoy for the next decade or more!

These chairs were exactly what I was looking for. I ordered four of them, and they are so comfortable! Unfortunately, they are too big to pack in our vehicles. I didn't realize that tension chairs were so long! We have a Dodge Journey and a Jeep Cherokee, and the chairs are too long to fit in the back horizontally. This was a deal breaker for us, and I had to return them. But I still give the chair 5 stars! If we had a bigger vehicle, we would have kept them.
