They did the job I had broke plastic screw in pipe going into my boiler of my motorhome I got all the plastic out but couldn’t screw the new one back in so on reading up it said it was a m16 thread so I ordered these the chamfered one was the ideal one as it slotted inside so much which kept it level while I screwed the tap in you could feel it biting I did a couple of turns then turned it the opposite way so it broke the new thread bits off as it twisted back it worked brilliantly thanks

They are cheap and you can tell, I doubt they’ll last long.I only bought them to chase an existing thread and I’m glad that’s all I’ve had to do and they’re now in the scrap bin. They don’t cut well and the pitch is debatable when you check them against a thread gauge.
