Needed a replacement and this was the best value for a 2825 bulb. Cannot comment on longevity at this time. Like that they had a two packet. There are two bulbs for the rear license plate. Since one failed it is likely the other one is due to fail in the future. Free PRIME shipping at the time I purchased.

Dealer quoted me $150 to replace this bulb when I had my X3 in for other service. Took me all of 5 minutes to do it myself. Kind of have to contort your hand a bit to get to socket. But, socket easily quarter twists out from headlight enclosure and then the bulb is just friction fit into socket. Don't touch the bulb with your fingers so that no body oil transfers to bulb, which causes excess heat and early burnout.

This bulb was the exact replacement for 2018 Ford Escape SE tag light bulb. Fits like the original.

They fit and work on a 2007 Toyota Camry SE. I normally get Sylvania bulbs but that was $5 versus these Phillips $2. Since it's just the license plate lights, I went with the cheaper Phillips bulbs.

Ordered these based on W5W labeling on blister pack, received 12961b2 bulbs. Research shows Philips uses 12961b2 as a co-reference to their W5W bulb. Exact same wattage and volts. Works great.
