This was very interesting and helpful. Really enjoyed learning about mummies and Pyramids. It makes you want to go see the tombs.

Our homeschool year revolves around Jake and Annie’s adventures. It’s fun for my kids to get in character and act out the times in the books. The fact checker books are wonderful to help separate the fiction from what really might have happened.

We love all the research guides for MTH. They are written at a higher Lexile level than the stories but it makes them fun to read together. My 6 year old doesn't have the patience to read through a research guide the entire way through on her own but together it makes for a fun project...she gets to tell me about what happened in the story to Jack & Annie and together we learn some fun facts about whatever time/place the story was about.

Perfect for kids that loves to read and likes everything about ancient Egypt!

Who doesn't find mummies and pyramids intriguing?The authors offer basic knowledge for young children to explore ancient Egyptian culture.It can be read as a stand-alone.I like the aspect on teaching children how to do their own research and where to look for information.Photograph inserts, as well as the drawings, create curious views of the past.Love history - check this out!

great book for ancient egypt, interesting facts for young readers of ancient pyramids and history

My son is in second grade and doing a book report on Ancient Egypt. He used the magic tree house mummies in morning book as his report book and using this guide for facts. It is very appropriate for his level of reading and comprehension-and its great to see how much he is enjoying reading the non fiction aspects.

As a homeschooling family, we try to find a variety of materials that catch the kids' interest. This book has done that with two kids, three more will follow. Even if you don't follow the series, this is a great stand-alone read. I read aloud, we do a craft or coloring page and we learn. It's awesome.

My 7 year old granddaughter was thrilled with this book to help with her school topic on Egyptians. She can read it herself with only a bit of help with words like hieroglyphics so encourages independent reading too.

We love the fact books that provide a great extension to the series

古代エジプト人の生活などをわかりやすく書いてあります。時折出てくるJack達と共に学ぶ感じで、飽きる事なく知識を吸収出来ると思います。ただ、内容が簡単な物なので、エンサイクロペディアや、他のエジプトについて書かれた本を既に読んでいる場合、恐らく内容が重複しているので買う必要ないと思います。

My 6 years old son absolutely loves this series. Very clear and nicely written for kids. We have more than 8 books from the series!
