Carl's Halloween

My granddaughter loves Carl the rottie do this was a birthday present slong with the birthday Carl book. Arrived in time to read it forher birthday just before Halloween. Pretty surd we will be adding to her Carl collection again soon.

Illustrations done very well. A great book for beginner reader.

If you have children or grandchildren you need to purchase one of these books.My kids are all grown and they remember these books growing up.They are beautifully illustrated and every time you sit down to read these booksyou can make you your own story...they are so much fun and promotes creativityfor everyone.

I love the Carl books and pre-ordered Carl's Halloween to arrive the day it was published. This volume is good. Lovely illustrations, though Carl has evolved into a rottie with a narrower, longer muzzle and an odd ear set. Still the lovely custodial dog that will shepherd Baby through another adventure. Colors are brighter overall in this book. I suspect this book will be a hit with my little niece and quickly become her favorite Halloween story. The only reason I've given the book 4 stars rather than 5 is that the actual printing seems a bit off/a little sub-par.

One of my son's 1st books was GOOD DOG CARL. We loved the beautiful illustrations and the clever story telling without using words. So when my niece had a baby, I bought this version for her 14 month old daughter when they visited near Halloween time. She said her daughter walks into her room every single night and picks out this book to read before bedtime, every single night. Night after night after night. The illustrations really are beautiful in the hardback book. They have since bought other versions, because they needed a break from the same story, night after night. Hahaha.

Adorable story! Great for toddlers as they can make up their own story for each page.

I keep this book on my coffee table during October for my children and grandchildren to read while they visit. It is beautifully illustrated and the stories are very imaginative but always gentle.

Its nice to see a book about such a wonderful breed of dogs. I have had 5 and everyone was wonderful !

If you’ve seen/read any other Carl books, this one won’t disappoint!
