Reading these negative reviews after I already purchased these panels for my deer stand,I was very reluctant. After opening the package I would have never thought these panels would come back to life. I laid them on my garage floor and squirted them with warm water,back side first then I turned them over and did the acoustical side. Once soaking wet,I hung them on my lawn chairs over the drain. Then next day they where still a little wet but the following day they where perfect and I am very happy with them. People,Read the directions and follow the instructions!

You really have to give them a good soak and lay outside, but what worked best for me was putting them in dryer on low heat for 20. Then all the hard to decompress areas finally fluffed. Again once you put the work in completely following the directions they will eventually expand as described. But because they come from separate shipments I noticed some slight discoloration from black to charcoal. Overall very pleased with echo absorption as well.

Order 2, suppose 4 each, total 8, but only come with 6, be aware buyer, try to return but till pending, it has been a month, so frustrated. No worthy even the price look cheaper.

I have to keep these in the garage until the outgassing settles down. Will it? Even out there, the smell seeps into the house.

I cover 24'X24" grates and 48"x24" grates, only 2 sheets were true to size.

Out on window to reduce rattling. Seems to be working fairly well.

We didn't purchase these for their acoustic performance, though it does seem to dampen the sound a bit, more primarily reducing echo within the same room.No, we primarily purchased these to stuff between the floor joists in our unfinished downstairs before mounting up spaced-out cedar bender boards for a deck look while these foam provide a dark background and covers up all cables and pipes. It's a really awesome look.
