You learn a lot about how a person deals with a problem with a puzzle like this. For instance, does a person consider the job "completed" if the puzzle comes apart through dumb luck and doesn't take the time or have the curiosity to learn how to put it back together or figure out why or how it should be manipulated? Does the person apply a methodical approach or just wings it? Does the person have the curiosity to master the puzzle?If I was interviewing job candidates for tasks that require problem solving, I'd consider breaking out one of these at the lunch table.

Easy for adults, tough for kids
So this took me about 4 minutes to figure all of these out without having to look at the instructions. Putting them back together was a little harder and for two of them took 5 minutes each. My kids have yet to figure them out and are keeping them occupied which is better than them playing video games. The kids also like having to stump there friends with them also.
