Bosse Tools Ergonomic Snow/Grain/Debris Scoop Shovel with 360-degree Rotating Center Handle

I haven't used it yet, but it feels good in the hands. for it's size I thought i'd be heavier but it wasn't. This shovel I will be keeping in my trunk for those days that I get stuck in the parking lot and have to dig my way out of the snow. When that time comes I will leave another review on it's actual performance. I based my rating on size, feel and weight. It's a solid tool.

I can most likely fix my shovel but keep an eye on the screws - maybe even add some loctite to ensure they dont fall out and get lost when you're shoveling in the dark only to find your handle no longer works. Otherwise great shovel. Deducted two stars for an otherwise five star shovel simply because now I have to fix my shovel in the middle of a snowstorm and this is five years later so that's pretty good quality otherwise.

Wow! What a fantastic find this was! Having recently moved from the country to the city where we park on the street, I purchased this shovel and had it delivered before the recent east coast blizzard struck. I'd normally use a traditional snow shovel, but I felt it was going to be to clumsy for working so close to the cars. I also knew that I was going to be moving a huge amount of snow with no where good to put it - can't move it to the street and I the sidewalk needs to be clear!I can say without a doubt that this shovel allowed me to move more snow than I would have thought possible. After digging out my cars, clearing the sidewalk and our porch steps I had enough stamina to help the neighbors with their shoveling as well. I used the mid shaft handle in the horizontal position since I had to scoop and walk the snow to another spot. In the few areas where I could throw it over my shoulder the adjusting mid shaft handle allowed me to make quick work of the snow. Keep in mind the magnitude of snow here. 24 inches with drifting in the street to more than 4 feet.Overall the shovel felt a bit heavy to me at first, but once I started using it, it felt perfectly balanced and the weight wasn't noticeable. The poly scoop held up great with all the scraping and banging into the pavement. It barley looks used! I continued to use the shovel in the days after the storm to clean up parking spaces and keep the giant snow piles that surrounded everything at bay. Ended up having to shovel out sections of the backyard for the dogs and the poly scoop was really easy on the grass below as well.Initially there was some question about spending 80 dollars on a shovel, but with just one event it has proven itself to be money well spent.

We have used this shovel for over a year. This is a 3 or 4 times a week and we shovel grain for our cattle a 2 tons at a time, so this shovel has been through a work out. It is a back saver and very easy to change setting on the hand. Yesterday the turner broke and I emailed the company they want picture and are sending us and new shovel. Now tell me who else has such GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will be getting another shovel for our son on another farm. We are not paid or received anything for our review .UPDATE: We received the new shovel and it is as great as the old shovel. SUPER Customer service!!!

Nice idea but it's too heavy, so counter-productive, unless you are using it instead of an upper body workout..

Dear Stephen Walden,(Founder, Bosse Tools)I love my new shovel, and while not a frequent user, it has already made my "shoveling" experiences easier. One challenge I am facing is, I hit the "Buy it Again" choice here on Amazon, to send one to my brother. While I received 20% off the $59.99 price listed, ($47 and change net) much to my dismay, not only was that offer no where to be found, but the price had increased to $99.00. Very solid. I think it will take me time to figure out which setting is best for my needs, but I like the option. The scoop is very strong.

Perfect. Paid $70 and thought wow, that's a lot for a shovel. It is worth every penny. I just tried it out and was able to do the front of my house in about 6 minutes compared to the usual 15-20 minutes. I like the shovel because it not only picks up the snow but is able to push it as well. Makes moving snow very easy. My back is in no pain anymore. If you think $70 is too much, I guarantee that you won't once you try it.
