Excellent customer service
After a long time researching the right product and read in the reviews, I received my Yaber replacement battery for my Dyson Fluffy in January 2020. I raised an issue about the shortened battery time in April 2020 and I immediately got a response, and not just an automated one, or a brush-off. It was a welcoming, pleasant and helpful reply, encouraging me in the first instance to try various steps to improve the problem - see below steps and above photographs:1. Please remove the battery and press the battery switch contacts (light grey clip on the top of the battery) to see if the blue light can be turned on normally;2. After the battery is installed in the vacuum cleaner, please check that the screws have been tightened properly. If the screws are loose, the battery will be off the track, the contact will pop up, then power will be interrupted halfway;3. There may be dust on the contacts between the vacuum cleaner and the battery (recommended to wipe it);4. The filter has excess dust accumulation and affects the normal discharge of the battery. (The filter needs to be replaced)I also received the following advice:-“Regarding the battery life, it really depends on the frequency of use and battery maintenance. Such as, high current over-discharge, or repeated over-discharge, this has an impact on the battery. In general, over-discharge will increase the internal pressure of the battery, the reversibility of the positive and negative active materials will be destroyed, and even the charging will only be partially restored, and the capacity will be attenuated.Please charge the battery when needed but do not overcharge it or try to use original charger as possible. Avoid recharging immediately after a full discharge. Allow cooling for a few minutes. Using standard mode first in everyday use, MAX mode will shorten use time. Follow these steps, it could help prolong battery life.”Yaber’s customer service is excellent. To me, customer service is as important as the product. It was refreshing to receive this level of assistance. In the event, I did need a replacement battery and there was no issue about that being sent out to me.

Had been using my Dyson Total for a couple of years with the battery diminishing storage capacity on every use. The Max function had stopped long ago. I was a bit sceptical about 3rd party battery options, the reviews on various brands are a bit hit and miss. However, I was getting frustrated with my vac so took the plunge and after a lot of research across the web I went for the Yaber. So glad I did! The battery comes in a simple recycled box which I appreciate (Amazon - take note of your own incredibly wasteful packaging policy). Upon inspection it was clear that the battery is of high quality, weighty to the touch and of high build quality, on par with the original Dyson battery. Installation is easy by way of a couple of screws and the battery fits the unit and recharge station perfectly. Upon first use it felt like the vac had a new lease of life, much more powerful than the original. However, take note and ensure you read the instructions and user advice. On first use I ran on Max power until the battery drained. I put it on the recharge station and noted that I got amber warning lights. On checking the manual I noted that this is not advised, basically the battery had got a little too warm and entered protection mode. I left it to cool for a while and then popped it back on the recharge station and all was back to normal. I don't actually need the Max setting on throughout general use, I now use it as required and have had no further problems. Amazing how useful the instructions are if you can be bothered to read them! I use the vac every day and am finding it's a pleasure to use, I've got my Dyson back! Only had for 2 weeks so far so can't comment on longevity but early signs are good. If you are looking for a battery to resurrect your flailing Dyson but are a little dubious about all the options, I can only recommend giving the Yaber a go. I will update the review if I experience any degradation in performance.

Good quality and great endurance.
Product purchased in January 2020. Initially I was delighted with this replacement battery for my Dyson V6. Its build quality is excellent and its performance much better (longer) than the original, but that is to be expected because of its larger capacity. Nevertheless, its endurance is much, much better than the original.However, after three weeks of intermittent use, occasionally on the high power level, the vacuum started to rapidly pulse on the high power setting, although at the lower power setting it was perfectly normal.That is what my original Dyson battery did (but after 30 months of use) before it died and wouldn't accept a charge.Therefore I have returned the battery for a refund but, because I am hoping that it was a duff 'one off' I have reordered an identical replacement. We'll see ........UPDATE .... The pulsing has nothing to do with the battery, I have discovered. The cause is a blocked filter or duct!Changing or washing the filter cures the problem, so I have cancelled the return and will be sending the new battery back as 'not required'. So I now give the YABER battery a full five stars.

Works perfect as v6 replacement battery
My dyson v6 already over 1 years warranty, and original battery has already dead! Found this replacement one, installed with my v6 vacuum very easily, perfect matched, then charging it for about 40mins, fully charged (same as original one the blue lights will b off when it is fully charged), it was lasting about 1hour for hoovering the 4 bedrooms house, surprised me! So far so good, only just hope it could b keeping longer!
