Miracle Nail Fix .5 ounce

I split a nail about 9 months ago and ordered this to help with the growth, so far it is a slow process but the nail glue has certainly helped with the split. I tried many other products and this one worked the best.

I was very excited when I received this product because I really thought it was great as advertised BUT and I do mean a large BUT, it really doesn’t work. When I first tried it I thought to myself, this is great but it only mend my nail for one day. So I used it again, and again and I eventually had to cut the nail off. I didn’t want to give up on the product so when I had a split on my thumbnail I tried it again. It fixed to split for two days and I reapplied it again, two days later I had to cut the nail. Don’t waste your money!

I have naturally long nails, but sometimes I get a partially ripped/torn nail. I don't want to have to cut all my nails because of a problem with ONE nail, but I also don't want to have one noticeably short nail from having to cut it down past the rip. This nail glue is GREAT. It dries pretty quick - hold your nail in place for it to dry attached to your nail base in its natural shape and when you paint polish over it, the fact that you have a rip is practically undetectable.Quick Reality Check: while the glue works great and dries quick, you are going to have to keep reapplying it - after a shower, especially. And it does not hold as well or subtle if you try to be lazy and reapply over the top of some nail polish; apply directly to your nail and paint polish over top. And if you try to be using that nail to actually do anything CUT IT OUT. That nail is in quarantine, girl. If you start typing with it, you best believe it is going to hurt and it will stress the glue bond and may start detaching or cause the nail to rip further, so just be dainty with it. it will look good, don't worry, but pure decoration. Eventually you are going to have to cut it, but I survived three good weeks on a glue regimen and was getting SO MANY compliments that I could keep my nails long like that (they didn't need to know i had one Frankensteined together :)

Nails are still splitting on me, doesn't seem to be solving my problem!

I had a similar product that I purchased about 10 years ago. Since you use so little of it for a quick nail repair it lasts forever. My 10 year old bottle got thicker and thicker and did not spread easily on the nail or day quickly anymore.I was overjoyed to find this online.It is exactly like the old product but with a different brand name.It is basically for people who don't have fancy manicured nails but get an occasional tear that just need to grow out and not catch on everything fabric or force you to wear a bandaid on the end of your finger for 2weeks.Quick, easy, it works and the price is right.

It is a miracle at holding my completely split (for life) nail together. EZ to apply. I‘ve used this for many years as it’s the only product that looks like polish but keeps my mail from catching & further splitting.This MUST BE APPLIED as one thin coat the first day, wait overnight for it to harden dry. Then apply a 2nd coat the following day. If too much polish is applied at one time it WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. IF you can be PATIENT, it’s A REAL MIRACLE FIX!The only only product Drs. have suggested is Super Glue but Miracle Nail Fix is MUCH BETTER! It’s smooth, looks, and acts like clear Nail Polish. I’ve had a split thumb nail (down to the quick) since young due to sucking my thumb, I THINK. It’s also full of ridges. I cut out the damaged part and softly smooth the nail for an even surface.

I applied one coat and a second coat in 2 days, and this is what happened. The product has an extremely strong odor which brings back memories of science class when we were dissecting earthworms, and I'm talking formaldehyde. There must be something in this that I'm sensitive to. I contacted Amazon to return the product but was told it couldn't be sent back because it is a hazardous material. If that's the case, why could it be sent to me? Now I'm stuck with a bottle of hazardous material that I obviously can't use and don't know how to dispose of it. Amazon did give me a refund for which I'm grateful. It is my opinion that this product should not be sold to anyone after the reaction I suffered.
