This book bought me much needed comfort and compassion after the loss of my cat "Thumpy". I was amazed at how many times animals are mentioned in the Bible scriptures and they are truly part of are afterlife. I also enjoyed reading about the near death and out of body experiences, this is so amazing and touching. The author Niki Behrilis Shanahan writes from her own experience of loss with much compassion and understanding .All her books are wonderful reading and very fascinating, healing balm for a broken heart. I have also bought a few for friends. Thank you Niki for writing this book and God Bless you! I lost my dog who was 15 ½ (had her since she was 3months old) on Dec 11 2008. We knew it was getting to be her time and I should have let her go months before. I ordered this book and it ended up arriving on the evening of the 11, after she had gone to live in Heaven. I had previously read the book Will I see Fido in Heaven? I had always believed that animals had souls/spirits and would be in the after life. This book brought me much comfort and still does since its been such a short time. At least every other day I've been reading passages and reading some of the prayers in the book. I know for sure that I will be reunited with my beloved dog one day, as well as any other pets that pass on before I get there. I have three parakeets that are currently up there too.It truly amazes me when people say animals don't have souls that they don't go to Heaven. When its all to clear by the scriptures of the holy bible that they do. At the end of Will I see Fiod in Heaven? The author says the question should be "Will Fido see you in Heaven?" Animals are innocent and sinless so they get into Heaven and don't have to do anything to get there. Where as people must accept Jesus and repent for their sin be baptized in the name of the trinity.

I have read a few of Niki Shanahan's books and they are excellent. Her book, "There is Eternal Life for Animals" was a real revelation, even though I am a long time reader of the Bible. Niki brings out testimonies of some Christians who have had NDE's and seen their pets. In her other book There is Eternal Life for Animals, she points out scriptures regarding animals that I had never noticed before. I believe God has shown Niki something that we all have wondered about and now I don't worry about where my pets will go when they die. This book is based on Biblical scripture and first-hand testimonies. I have given this book to friends or relatives who have lost a pet. I highly recommend it. Wow...I"m so glad I purchased this book! I searched and searched (and read many reviews) to find the perfect one, and I'm so glad I purchased this one. I also purchased another one, but I immediatley started to read this one first. She has such a way with writing and totally eased my heavy, painful heart after loosing my 15 year old beagle. I struggled with would I ever see her again, because my mother told me years ago that since dogs do not have souls, that they would not be in heaven. This truly tortured me and I desperately wanted to know the truth. Look no further...this book put my concerns to rest. I now know that my sweet beagle has her eyesight in heaven and is doing one of her very favorite things right at this very moment...chasing those silly squirels and lovin' her life as she once knew it here on earth. I"ll see you again my sweet Mudsey...but until then...I miss you so much.

I bought this books as a gift for a friend. She liked it very much. I would recommend it to any one who loves their pet.

A very helpful book for anyone suffering the loss of a beloved animal. It gave me a lot of hope that my animal and I will one day be reunited again in heaven. I did find some of the book quite hard reading as there are lots of quotes from The Bible but it helped me to understand things and it opened my mind. I found a lot of comfort from reading this book.

A wonderful well researched and comforting book. I was only disappointed it was so short. :(
