Supremely Delicious!
This is the second time I have purchased this 5-pound bag of Larry's Beans Fair Trade Organic Coffee, Frenchy French, whole beans so I can grind them myself. Don't let the name throw you, it's not like a usual French roast, bitter with oily double-cracked beans. It's supremely smooth with a moderate intensity of flavor and no bitterness. I make a ball jar full by the drip method through a cone. I have a cup with honey and whole milk in the morning and the remainder gets cold; it's even smooth when cold! That's the sure sign of a great coffee -- it's when the professional coffee tasters sample their coffees, when they're cold. So don't hesitate on this one. Take it from someone who searches for the perfect cup of coffee, and has finally uncovered the great devise. That it's fair trade is an added bonus. Organic is essential! The foregoing is no exaggeration!

My favorite coffee!
I just love Larry’s coffee! Being it’s local to North Carolina, that’s a huge plus for me. Taste andp quality is always the best, and I will continue to buy this brand for a long, long time. Ethiopian blend was a little bit different, and I prefer the cowboy blend, but this was very tasty. My favorite only comes out once a year, and that’s Valentino blend! Look for it in February!

Dry, brittle beans
Organic Ethiopian coffee beans should be delightful. Although these beans arrived in a vacuum sealed pouch, they were disappointingly dry, and when we grind them they are brittle, discolored & produce stubbly grounds, not rich coffee. We’ve enjoyed Ethiopian coffee for years and looked forward to these organic beans, but we’re disappointed with these dried out husks. Was it just this batch that was way beyond its best date? Vendor has ignored request for replacement.

Larry's beans is the best
We love Larry's beans. Our favorite coffee; smooth & flavorful. We use this is our drip pot for guests, AND in our Starbucks Athena barista espresso machine on a daily basis. Play with the grind if you're not immediately happy, but don't give up on these. The staff at the company is a total pleasure to work with, and I LOVE that their be coffee is ORGANIC and FAIR TRADE! I've even started carrying their coffee into restaurant!

Price hike makes it too expensive to drink
This coffee is excellent and used to be my everyday coffee when it was $60/5lbs, but at the now $71/5lbs it's just too expensive to drink regularly. It's a shame because this coffee is so great in flavor.

It didn’t disappointing me at list
I’m Ethiopian and I normally go to Ethiopia’s market to get whole coffee bean,we have our own way roasting it at home. I was busy. I couldn’t drive 40 minutes to the grocery so I decided to go ahead and order Ethiopian coffee from Amazon. Honestly, $60 over price, I normally purchase 5 pound for $25 . I have no choice the last minute ordered from Amazon I wasn’t aware of this was roasted one . Then I immediately open the bag I was upset because it’s already roasted.instead of returning let me try making it but I tell you it’s really good I see no difference from home made coffee as Ethiopian my self. It actually save my time for special occasions I don’t have make from scratch.

Great taste and fair price
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this coffee but I am very happy with it. It tastes great and I like that it’s grown and packaged in the USA, it’s organic and fair trade. I will be re-ordering.
