Sisters: A Novel

Enjoyed the Book very much

I was expecting a normal DS book about a love story. I was quite surprised. I never thought of this storyline. I am almost finished but at every moment I don't know what to expect. These sisters are delightful!

This book was very sad at the beginning, but finished on a happy note. All 4 sisters were very supportive of each other and it was very heartwarming to read how they bonded over the circumstances they were left with.

Love Danielle Steele books!

Danielle leaves you spellbound with the devastation twist and the love stories that rises from the ashes. This is a story that I didn’t want to end. Well written as always.

Entertainment

The importance of family is the ongoing theme. The story speaks to the importance of raising children to have respect for one another. When the chips are down, the sisters come together as a force to be reckoned with. The last chapters are the conclusion of the things that were once so dauntingand ends on a lovely note.

I liked the characters but was tired of hearing of their beauty and hair - sometimes multiple times in the same paragraph. I like happy endings so it worked for me but the plot was very predictable. WhenAnnie and her mother left for the store you knew something horrible was going to happen because it was all to perfect. The foreshadowing of the father marrying Leslie was a bit too much. The piece that was the hardest to swallow was the sisters talking about their father marrying at their mother’s funeral. Maybe when they came back fie Labor Day but not three days after their mother died.

Yet another brilliant book by this author. Like all of her other books this is full of atmosphere and you just can't wait until the next page.
