Such a beautiful bright vivid colorful collar. I like that there is a slide lock on the clip on buckle. It's just that added feature so the buckle doesn't easily release by accident. The material of collar is the standard nylon webbing. The colors are great. My dog is all black with no markings so this collar just adds some style and color to him.

We originally had a smallest size for our puppy that was 6 weeks old. She is now 6 months and has grown out of it, so we ordered the largest size now. This is a very nice and durable collar, and we love the "Pattern 3". The buckle lock is very useful.[Update Nov 2018] Our puppy (8 months now) chewed the collar while I left it on my table... so we got another one because we love the color. It is so cute and vivid. Our puppy destroyed the buckle completely, but the fabric didn't get ripped apart, so we still think this is very durable collar... Just don't leave it out if your dog is aggressive chewer. :([Update Dec 2019]After over a year of daily uses, the plastic parts got broken, so I ordered another one ;) I looked other colors but I came back to the same one. The photo is for reference. I still like this collar. More color variations please!

I waited until I had used it awhile to review. I am SO picky with literally everything I buy. I can’t tell you how many collars I ordered of all types and returned almost all of them. So, I decided to give as much information as I could do it can be useful for others as picky as I am. I bought this one with the horizontal diamond pattern and it has surpassed my expectations and then some.I love the lock on the clasp, it is really easy to move (some hurt my fingers or weren’t aligned correctly, etc.) but never fails. I don’t use the collar with a leash normally because my dog is Houdini in basically everything but certain types of harnesses, but friends have used this collar with a leash periodically to play and walk him and it’s been totally fine attached to the same loop with his 500 tags (really 5 plus a plastic silencer). I have thrown it in a laundry garment bag in the washing machine and it came out perfectly fine. I have washed it by hand and it was fine. I have washed my dog with him wearing it and it was fine. He has swam in it, ran and played in the mud, snow, and rain with it, wrestled with multiple dogs daily at the dog park with it, and IT STILL IS FINE. Every time I clean it, no matter the way that is convenient for me at the time, it comes out looking great. The colors make it so easy to stay looking in good condition overall. There is no fraying or tear whatsoever, which is shocking with how many dogs have grabbed his collar while wrestling.For reference, my dog started wearing the collar at 30lbs and he is now 40 lbs (regular growth weight, not overweight gain) and the collar has done great throughout the entire change of weight and use. The photo is from not being washed with a month of use, which included a week of snow.

I got the smallest size for my long haired Chihuahua puppy. He was 4 months old when I got it and he is current 7 months old. I wouldn't recommend the smallest size for a puppy or dog that's getting use to a collar because it's not very durable. I've had this collar for less then a year and it's already falling apart. My puppy did scratch at it alot while he was getting use to it and it would probably fall apart faster for a bigger dog. I would recommend getting something cheaper then this for a dog that's getting use to a collar. If you have an older dog or dog that's already use to a collar it should be fine then. I did like the design but now you can't even make out the design. I was also disappointed with the clasp. It's a metal clasp which is different from all the other sizes which have plastic ones. I thought it was a plus at first but it doesn't click when you take it off or on so its hard to tell if it's in or out all the way. I had so much trouble with this at first because trying to fumble around with a collar on a puppy that's already protesting it was NOT fun. The ring to attach the tag and leash is also pretty small. It made potty training in the first few month harder then it already was because you have a tiny clip that you're trying to find as fast as possible on squirming puppy to get him outside to pee. That's what finally led me to get him a new collar from petco today. it was definitely much more expensive but the material is much better quality. Overall I do not recommend the smallest size however, idk if the other sizes are made out of better materials.

I love love love the new collar!! The lock feature is really cool, and a nice option to prevent accidental un-clipping.The only thing I’m not a total fan of is that the ring to clip the leash to is made of plastic, as well as all the locks and adjustments.However, for my small dog and for the price, it’s a perfect collar! And it’s so cute!I definately recommend.

Alfie, our 35 pound Boston, LOVES his new collar. He thinks he is very handsome in it. We chose pattern 3, size 14 to 18 inches. Fits perfectly (adjusted at about halfway). His old collar was worn out, and we bought a new one last month from a different company on Amazon. It was total garbage, poorly designed and didn’t fit or clasp properly, and the decorative reflective coating on it peeled off after two weeks. We tossed it. This one seems much more solid and well made. The pattern is not coated on, it is actually woven in. I was concerned that an inch wide would be too wide (the last one was thinner), but it actually fits well and is very easily adjustable for length. The tribal pattern is perfect. (After all, he is the original American breed.) It seems relatively soft and comfortable, and I am very happy with it.
