Versatility
You can use light sticks, heavy sticks, mallets, and brushes on this pad - making it a unicorn! The only pad that you can use brushes on. I know that a lot of the music has gotten away from those, but that is a loss we should be correcting. There are some great lessons out there on the 'net on how to play brushes with modern music, so let's get after it!

Where were these when I was 13???
I have the 12, 13, and 14. Will order the 16 soon. Pricey - compared to regular drum mutes - but they are fantastic. Wish these were around when I first learned to play drums 35 years ago. Could have practiced longer and more often. Great drum feel and rebound. Great low volume practice. No alterations to the drums and no swapping out heads between practice and live.

Amazing
I’ve been using an old Realfeel pad for probably 20-some years - they’re now made by Evans. I’ve always like that pad as it wasn’t as overly bouncy as many of the newer mesh-head pads and pads that are geared toward matching drummers. I have to say that this Super-Pad finally converted me from decades of the same old thing. It does a great job of muting the drum beneath it while still giving me enough ring to sense when I’m striking the center and the feel is the closest I’ve experienced to an actual drum while still being extremely quiet. I now recommend this pad to anyone from beginners to veterans like me.

My favorite practice pad.
In my experience, this pad offers the truest 'feel' of the many pads I have used through the years....no fake rubber bounce, and no mushy gel feel....Realistic surface to get an honest workout for the fingers and wrists, that will translate to an actual snare accurately.

A very good product, but pricy!
I like this product. I also have their 20" base drum Super Pad. The 14" I use on my snare drum. My only adjustment was to loosen the snares to get a better defined sound. Drum stick response on the playing surface is close to actual drum heads. The playing surface appears to be durable. The rubber seal around the pad's circumference doesn't seem as sturdy as the rest of the pad. Time will tell! Their Base Drum head is better than any other pad I've used. The down side of all Super-Pads is their price. Aquarian's Low-Volume drum pads "Are Expensive". If you have the funds, buy them.

Feels and sounds Wonderful!
Pardon me, but I had to compare this to the other popular brand which is the RTom Blackhole. Obviously I wasnt happy with the RToms. While the feel is good, the tone is subpar. The sound is important when practicing your feel and touch on the drums. My only regret is I shouldve bought the Aquarian Superpad first. Now I gotta sell my RToms.

great practice pad
Use it all the time. Very low volume and the most realistic in terms of bounce that I've personally used. Love that it fits on a 14" snare or as standalone.

Good for practice, not for performance.
I use this as my main practice pad. I also teach and have students use it. After a few months, it has held up fine. Low volume acoustic playing during lessons is fine, but not super applicable as a low volume performance head.
