Bigger than expected but looks how I wanted and was affordable
It was bigger than I expected, but it will work with what costume I'm doing. My main two things were the look and affordability anyways. I think it's made of some sort of foam because I could tell if I actually messed around and started hitting people/things with it, it would probably break. Will keep the violence to a minimum.

Hollow toy sword quality. Poorly made and does not look realistic at all!
This was by far the worst looking prop knife I have ever seen. It looks nothing like the item pictured. It looks more like one of those kids' toy swords that bend in half the minute you hit them on anything. The blade is 1/2" wide and hollow. It does not look like a butcher knife at all and the quality is terrible. The plastic is poorly molded and has visible flashing around all the edges. This could not look less real. Thank goodness I have Amazon Prime. I returned this item the day I opened it.

Perfect complement to any Michael Myers' costume!
Nice addition to a Michael Myers costume! A little on the big side, but not so big it looks like a Jason machete, IMO. I'm a big guy at 6'4" 300, though, so that put the knife into perspective. It might look kind of crazy huge in the hands of some people.

My kid is short so I had to hem the suit to fit. He loved it, stood at the end of the driveway staring at cars passing by, I'm sure the neighborhood thinks I'm a weirdo but oh well...lol

This knife is ridiculous. It is as long as my arm, no joke. Doesn’t look like what is pictured. Boooo!

nice prop - not the one in the picture though
This is a great costume knife, although short sword would be more accurate. It worked great for my Michael Myers costume as he also carried a comically large knife. The knife in the picture was not the one sent however, the one sent looks more like a traditional carving knife.

Not like in the picture (at least as of this posting)
The knife I received does not match the knife pictured. It actually looks more like a machete, and the blood pattern is different. At its base, the height of the blade extends almost an inch beyond the height of the handle, and it's about 14 inches long. Overall, the knife is about 20 inches long. In addition, it's pretty cheap looking...but I suppose you can only expect so much from plastic. I guess I'll be sending it back.
