They work well
I left off a star not because of an issue with the extinguishers, I purchased two, one with the mounting bracket and one bare, one of them had the grey seal, that helps hold the safety pin in was broken, I realized that there was no issue with the extinguisher but in transit it had snapped as the one box had a dent. When the minor damage occurred I cant say as the outer box that held the two extinguishers showed no sign of damage. Always remember when storing an extinguisher that the dry chemicals will settle and in time can clump. Shaking it vigorously or better still hitting the base with a rubber mallet will agitate the chemical and help make sure it will discharge properly when needed doing this Once a month should keep the extinguisher ready to use.

It’s a fire extinguisher from a good company !
Amerex has been in business for 50 years, my fathers repair shops and body shops all had their extinguishers and we’ve put out plenty of fires through the years. That’s why I stick with what I know. I have 2 in my personal home shop, 2 in the house and in both of my cars all Amerex extinguishers. I know when I pull that pin it’s gonna work. Plus I’ve never had an issue with refills.Shipping was fast thanks Amerex 👍

Outstanding Product and Value

arrived fully discharged and useless
it arrived fully discharged and useless - there was no pin in it and it was fully used up already when it arrived - so glad I noticed it - I could be sued by my tenants if I had placed this one at the property - or worse, I would be endangering their lives - this is awful - I have reversed the charge on my credit card
