DCI Arrow Magnetic Bookends

These came packed in a very small box - fear not, though, they look just like the picture and work well! I love the effect. Keep in mind that you'll need to use paperbacks on each end so that the magnet can hold, and since the support bracket goes inward, under the books, you may want to choose a couple books for each end that you don't use as often. With that in mind, this is a really fun product and I'm very happy with the purchase!

This is a neat idea. I would have expected the arrows to be made of acrylic or a good quality plastic material instead of light opaque plastic. I think the product is over priced. Two metal angles and two plastic arrows for this price... I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this product.

These are super whimsical and cute, just like they appear on the website. But, I did not have luck with them as the magnet was not strong enough to hold through my hard back cookbook covers which is what I wanted the bookends to hold. This would work well on soft cover books - no problem. And, the extra long brackets do a great job of holding the books firmly in place. Note, the arrows are a plastic material. I did not notice this detail when I purchased...they looked like a high gloss material to me on the web site. I didn't feel like they looked as "artsy" in person than they do online.

I bought these for my brother, who is a major book collector, and he loves them. They are very interesting and unique and they work well!

These bookends don't really work. I think it's because the magnet just isn't strong enough. If it was stronger, they books would stay up much better.
