Women's Mock Neck Long Sleeve Floral Print Work Dress

Oh, what a disappointment. I've had this dress on-and-off-and-on my wish list for nearly a year. I finally ordered it after carefully reading reviews. I opted to get the XL, even though it is 1-2 sizes bigger than I normally wear. I also selected the "A Yellow" color, which has a floral print. Well, here's the verdict: proceed with caution.PROS: there are some good things about the dress1. So very avant garde in design! Super fashion-forward with the color (yellow) and print (floral with webs) and the high neck with the short skirt. Runway model perfection!2. There is no #2.CONS: Ugh. Where do I start?1. It was MISSING the sash belt at delivery. The photo showed a sash belt, and there are two belt loops on the dress -- but no sash. I'm not sure if the missing sash was due to a manufacturer's problem or it was a return that someone else forgot to include and it was not quality checked upon reselling.2. The fit is weird. Yes, I got the XL because people said it ran small. Here's the scoop on that:A. The waist has a thin elastic sewn in and it was too tight. My waist is ten inches smaller than my bust/hips, so that should not have been a problem. The waist was also too high. It came closer to the bust line than the natural waist. I am 5'4" and am long waisted for my height. However, because I am not tall, I think this dress will be a problem for all but very short waisted people. They need to ditch the elastic waist. With the sash belt, there is no need for the elastic at all.B. The sleeves are too long. They button at the wrist, which helps gather them up a bit, but with the strange fit in the waist, the sleeves just add another weird dimension to the overall fit.C. The bustline was okay. I'm a small to medium C, and it wasn't too tight, but it also did not have a whole lot of extra room. However, the shoulders were kind of big/droopy. Again, a weird fit combination.3. The fabric was not quite as I expected. I thought it would be more of a flowy chiffon-like fabric, but it is not. It has a slightly crunchy/scratchy feel with a film-like finish.I decided to return it. I really wish the return system would allow you to choose multiple reasons for a return. I first selected "defective/missing items" since it was missing the sash belt, but by doing so, they only wanted to send me a replacement. Uh, no, it also did not fit, so I do not want another one. When I selected "poor fit," I could only choose between too small or too big. This dress had both problems! Well, at least I am able to return it and get store credit, but I will enclose a note to say that the item is missing the sash. I hope no one else gets it that way.So, who would this dress look good on? Short-waisted women (you can be any height and be short waisted) with a small waist circumference, small to medium bust size, and long arms. If this is you, congrats! This dress will look smashing on you.

Pretty dress and great price. Just don’t like the way the elastic waist feels.

Size up! I’m 5’9’’ 190, usually have no issues wearing an XL. This was a size too small. Love the color! It is on the shorter side- mid thigh. Sleeves were a little short.

Nice dress, I would love the dress if it was a bit longer, it’s almost like a long shirt. You would definitely need to wear shorts, tights or leggings underneath. The first time I had it one someone said “oh, I love your shirt” :/

The print is nice but if you have the “belly flab” issue, I wouldn’t recommend. The elastic part doesn’t stay out and will ride up to under your breast area making the dress look weird. Not flattering for me. Also, the length was too long for me. Felt a lot older than what the pic presents.

Love the material bought it for a fall wedding, I’m 4’11 so it’s below the knee rather than above, but super cute though. I felt like a sexy church goer haha
