solid layer for winter/fall months that's very durable and thick. awesome fit. really good material and look. decent breathability but too warm in 80f+

The first one I ordered was too tight and the sleeves were too short. I then bought the tall size and it fits perfectly so make sure you double check the sizes.

The title of my review are the exact words of my husband…..the pickiest man on the planet when it comes to clothes. I bought him this shirt for Christmas, hoping he would wear it as an undergarment for extra warmth when he was working outside in our cold Northeast winters. But he loves its style, fit, and stretch so much that he wears it as a regular shirt and fashion statement. It fits perfectly according to the sizing guidelines. He has also worn it as I intended….as an extra layer for warmth outdoors…. and he says it does keep him warmer without producing a sweaty feel like some other long john types of garments. If you knew his fussiness about clothing and how many items I have had to send back or return, the fact that he loves this shirt to this extent is a testament about its awesomeness. Looks great with a pair of jeans, and he wore it to two social gatherings and was complimented several times. I have now purchased 3 more for him in other colors.

Very comfortable shirt. It was larger than I expected, I usually wear a 2XL comfortably but this is a little looser than normal. I would say its not as warm as it should be for being a "heavy" shirt. Very comfortable and it breathes nicely. Works excellent as a layer or if you are active it could be warm enough in moderately cold conditions

My husband works outside he hunts he fishes even in the cold winter weather. I found the big and tall on Amazon and ordered him a set. He is very happy with these and they are very comfortable. Good quality and of course the brand only has good quality products.

Just what you would expect from a quality company

I am 6'-2" and 210lbs, well built. I first purchased an XL at a local store and loved the shirt. It was a little big in the torso so I looked for a large tall, no luck until I hit amazon. Purchased a Large tall and it arrived in a day. great quality again but it is EXACTLY the same torso as the XL, only longer sleeves. So, the XL fits me OK but a little too big around the torso. The Large-Tall fits the same but with longer sleeves. Still too big around the torso. I wear both and they are both real nice, feel good, but the fit around my trunk is never right. Too big for a trim person without a gut. I still think I can suggest you buy one, they are well made, wash well, hold up great but are sized sort of strange. Maybe they make a medium tall? Have not worn a medium in a few decades....

Feels good, I even wear this as a casual top throughout the day at school.The fit is great for me. I am 5'9 and about 168lbs, with a lean build, and the medium size fits me perfectly. Not too tight or loose.

Order 2xl tall, other carhartt shirts that fit tall are perfect, order these tall and they fit length wise short than a standard shirt length. Tall is not the same in these thermal I guess.

Strongly disappointed and feel ripped off by this purchase

I bought this expecting it to keep me warm in the winter under my shirts. It does keep me warmer then my regular long sleeved shirt. But it's honestly not worth the 50$ I spent on it. Save yourself the money.

I paid $60 for a thin shirt that definitely will not keep my boyfriend warm. Save your money and buy literally anything else. I am so disappointed!
