I totally loved Steel's book. There was just something special about him. He didn't fit the mold neither did Kat. Each hardheaded and so set in their ways. It was fun to watch them together, okay read about them together. These two were destined to be together. I have no words. But I have to admit I actually thought there would be no HEA. Steel would not beg and Kat would not bend. I was like OMG this is not going to end well. I felt bad for Steel when he basically showed his emotions and she still left. Also I honestly thought her Manager was the stalker. I don't know there was just something about him that was shady LOL. Great read and great series. I'm so glad I bought every single one of her books . Now on to Brick LOL this should be interesting. He's a swipe left kinda guy LOL.

I love the In the Shadows Security series and Guts & Glory: Steel did not disappoint.Anson “Steel” Sterling is a man who likes his women to look athletic, not soft or curvy. He is not ashamed to voice his opinion even if no one wants to hear it. He gets himself into more trouble with his mouth than he does any other way. Diesel chooses him for an assignment to watch over a woman athlete and he is not impressed with the job at first. Then he meets Kat and sees her in action and his interest peeks.Kat is a woman in a man dominated sport, but she’s good at what she does, and she makes no apologies for it. She’s determined to be the best in her field and has been the top contender four years running. She’s powerful, independent, and strong and she doesn’t need a man in her way to keep her safe. Or so she believes. She’s out to prove her father wrong in his beliefs of how women should act and that she can be more in life.These two are perfect for each other. They both feel that they have something to prove, if not to themselves then to those that believe they know what’s best for them. They are both strong, both emotionally and physically, and they are stubborn. I loved this story and found the heat between these two to be explosive. They are great together, but they need to figure that out on their own, and it will take them a while to do it. They both respect each other, but can they figure out that there is more between them than respect before it’s too late? I give this story 5 steamy stars and highly recommend that you one-click it and read it, especially if you like strong, independent women who realize that they are more with someone they love standing next to them. This entire series has been great so far and I cannot wait for Brick’s story next.

A must read each book in the series has different stories some very tough alpha males and some very bossy women who challenge these males every step of the way can they find what will make them compatible with each other or is true opposite personalities can indeed find that common ground that makes it work for both of them

Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language throughout, adult intimate scenes and violence.This is part of the spin off from the Dirty Angels MC series. While it could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.I can’t believe there is only one more story remaining in this series. Fortunately for me there is another spin off.This is the first story in the series that I haven’t rated 5 stars. I wanted more emotions about what Kat went through with her stalker and/or her family. It just seemed as if a little something more could have been explored that would have really drawn out the angst, tension, etc. to make the character of Kat even more alive.

I was immediately immersed in this book. Steel and Kat were perfect for each other and their chemistry was off the charts! The steamy scenes between them were super hot! They were both stubborn though and it took a lot of butting heads before they found their HEA. I loved all the characters, the storyline and definitely the whole DMAC world. I’m addicted and can’t wait for more!!

Great story, Steel and Kat were made for each other. They are both competitive fighters. Liked that Kat was a badass MMA fighter and Steel was man enough to not be threatened by it. They also found they could show their start sides to each other

in all honesty, I wasn't sure if i'd be so excited about this book because Steel was such an was in many of the previous books. But as usual, I fell for the Grumpy Jagoffs!!! it probably didn't hurt that I really loved the story about Kat and her stalker. So creepy, but draws me in every time.... Also the unusual fact that she's an MMA fighter just adds more interest!!! Great book! Ava Lucas and Aaron Shedlock added fabulous narration to this one!!! ❤❤❤

If you don’t read another book in the G & G series, you must read this one! Steel an alpha hottie who you wouldn’t think has a single romantic bone in his body. Kat is a bad a$$ MMA fighter who doesn’t need any man, especially one like Steel. This is a steamy, passionate pairing that will give you all the feels. The underlying danger that brings them together is well written and will keep you turning the pages, and you just have to know whether Kat can let her guard down for Steel. I don’t give out many 5 star ratings, but when you read a book three times in two weeks it’s warranted!

OMG!! What a totally amazing book!! I just absolutely loved this book and series! I can't wait to read Brick's story! A definite must read!! Happy Reading!!! :)

Jeanne has delivered another stunning and entertaining story, full of humour, passion and delicious lust. MMA fighting has not been on my radar but this book has now made me want to take a good look at the men and women involved in such sports. Hilarious to see the attempts by the strong man trying desperately not to become like his brothers and great to see a strong woman becoming even stronger. Highly recommend this book, even if you read it as a stand alone the story is great and you will want to check out the previous stories.

Out of the in the Shadow series Steel and Kat are my favourite!! Having both characters strong and confident in their ability i like how Kat did not protray herself as a damsel in distress.

Once again, another great book in the series, Love! this series of Happily Ever Afters. What's not to love, a series of good looking, hot muscular guys that when they fall they fall Big style while all their "brothers" laugh at them because it's happened to them already.The sisterhood accept new members in to their "family" and take 1 on take them all brothers & sisters family isn't always blood.MMA champion Kat has had a stalker for nearly a year now H follows her leaving her notes & "gifts". Her manager keeps moving her swapping houses, cars & phones on a regular basis but H keeps finding her.Berger, Kats manager enlists the help of In the Shadows security services - in walks Steel. He is fascinated with her, amazed by her, intrigued by her.Of course she gets irritated by him n his cockiness but as they start working together and talking it dawns on them both how much they like each other, but of course it's not all plain sailing before they really talk and come to their senses.Dont want to give away too much but if u do love a good HEA check out the Dirty Angels & Guts n Glory series get to know the whole family.Cant wait to read Bricks downfall lol
