Crazy Bonez Skeleton Raven

I purchased both the vulture and raven in the spirit of Halloween, but honestly I celebrate the season all year round anyway, so I will be keeping them on display permanently. Despite their rather dead appearance, the eyes are very moody and bring a sense of life and personality to my living space.Value for Money - 5 Stars *****Exactly what is expected from this product. It arrived unbroken, on time, and brings a smile to my face just having it on my bedside table. For a person who loves animals, but can't afford the time or money to fully care for and feed them, why not try adopting a couple of Crazy Bonez for pets? They are quiet, make zero mess, and eat very little from what I've seen. I love them both very much.Sturdiness - 4 Stars ****I am overall very impressed with the castings. They feel chunky and thick, so the chance of breaking when handling are fairly low. However, due to the nature of hard plastic, I would not expect it to survive a hard fall, or being crammed in a storage box with other awkward heavy decorations. The beak hinges open reasonably, but might require tightening of the screws if you wanted to keep it in one pose permanently. I kind of like how easily they open and close. The wings swiveled with some effort, which I did only slightly before calling it "good enough". I would not describe this swivel as "action" ready. This is for poses only. Too much back and forth, I feel, would risk breaking the wings. Make sure you take great care when swiveling, but holding it on the bone closest to the screw joint. I only give it a four-star rating because it feels reasonably breakable and the exposed screws require you to cover them up with putty or sealant to prevent rusting from outdoor use. I would not recommend leaving these outside. They're quite nice and clean molded plastic and I would not want them to be stolen or covered in garden grime, personally.

This crow skeleton was very durable and realistic looking. Great quality and the perfect size to fit in my birdcage for a very spooky look for Halloween.

This is the cutest thing, I love mine. Well made and the polymer must be tough as it came in some bubble wrap inside a padded envelope, not a box. The toes look fragile, but nothing was broken. A bit of articulation, but be careful, some of the "joints" may not be made to articulate. The wings attach with small screws that look like they can be loosened if you want to raise them higher. Not sure if they can be raised, haven't tried yet. The beak opens and closes. I may look for small glass eyes to put in the blackened sockets. I already used this guy in a photo layout for an on-line store contest. Looks just like the photos on Amazon. I selected the no rush shipping (to get the eBook discount) and it came reasonably quickly - 8 days after it was purchased.

Put it in the Pen!My new project for this year is a 10' x 4' Dead Thing Pen. I'm "building" with edging stones and black mulch a grazing area for Dead Things. The Raven is a nice, if smallish addition.With a classic left/right turning head, this (dead) bird can be made to look as crazy as you like (as if being a skeleton isn't crazy enough). As the photo shows, it still presents well in low light (and should look even better with my intended black lights in the Pen).One caution: the raven has some toppling issues. I found a workaround using the wings as balancers. Other reviewers have offered their own solutions.Oddly enough, the bag around the bird says "Tweety". Not based on my cartoon watching days, but an excellent purchase nonetheless.

I really like this little bird. I expected him to be a little bigger. The measurements they give are accurate I just pictured it being bigger. Realistically it is probably accurately bird sized. It seems to be really good quality. It has movable joints that don’t come apart. It feels real sturdy. It is thick plastic The color is good. Other than me expecting it to be slightly bigger it surpassed my expectations in every other way.

Not sure what you are using them for but it doesn't scare cats. Still looks cool and goes with the Halloween thing pretty well.

I bought this thing for Halloween decoration at my Halloween party last year cause honestly, my decoration game is hella week. From the moment I opened the box on this dude has been chilling on my desk. Let me tell you, this little buddy does spark joy. Beak mobility is top tier. Head turns great. Wings need a little mojo to get them up but honestly, the been is enough for me. I like my decor to look rested. Brought this fella with me to the dorm, he's my study buddy now. Great purchase if you're into plastic bones

It worked fine. It would have been better if it had made some crowing noise.
