Really good sweets
After first perusing the recipes I thought of two things: one, these look amazing and two, I need to restock my entire pantry because I had nothing (besides coconut oil). So at first I was discouraged as to how much I would drop on everything. But I took the plunge and I've really gotten into it. So far I have made the following:Chocolate zucchini bread - very moist and simple to makeChocolate donuts - also delicious, had to buy a donut pan for thisDark chocolate bar - wasn't required but I bought a silicone mold which made a perfect bar of chocolate; this was labor intensive. You have to melt the cocoa butter, grind the sugar, blend everything - so a lot of mess and cleaning for one little bar. I also found the texture to be a little grainy. But I will try again because I used alll of this chocolate for the next thing I made...Mock "almond joy" candies - I can't stop eating these. No joke. Not only do they look amazing when done they taste phenomenal. If you like coconut and chocolate, you will LOVE these. And these were actually easy to make - since I already had the chocolate done all I had to do was make the coconut mixture. I did have to buy a candy mold for this. I posted pics of this on my Instagram and the people were begging for the recipe.Cherry chocolate chicken with cauli "rice" - this was one of the main course recipes at the end of the book. And it was actually very good. I never thought of making cauli 'rice' but it was easy and fast. The chicken was also a fast meal, but I did have to use an entire jar of sour cherry preserves which was $5 just for that.Overall very happy with the recipes and the concept of this book!

A Keeper
We have been cooking all natural/paleo for about 2 years now and I buy many of the paleo books as they come out because I LOVE cooking. I love learning new methods and learning about new ingredients but it can get a little overwhelming- my kitchen is like a mini health food store at this point. So at first I let it sit on the shelf because i saw more things i had to add to my huge stash.. hemp seeds, vanilla beans, chia seeds and so on.. So a couple weeks ago i picked it up again and ordered a couple items i needed and i am glad i did. Paleo style desserts usually fall short on sweetness or texture in my opinion and this book really gives a new spin on desserts.. and they taste great and are sweet enough for my tastes- many are super fancy but totally doable. They use cashews..stevia.. you can make your own chocolate.. all kinds of stuff in here to make and become inspired from. My husband likes a dessert in his lunch for work and this will be my go-to book until i make just about everything in it.

Love the pictures and variety of recipes, but uses some ingredients I don't like.
I like the intro and tips. Recipes are just ok, kind of cumbersome. I do not like her choice of sweetners- stevia and coconut sugar in large quantities. Coconut sugar, while tasty, in large amounts tends to upset my stomach.stevia requires major caution because there is evidence that it is pharmachologically active after consumption with endrocrine disrupting properties. For more info on stevia problems, see the Paleo Mom website and search for stevia.I wish there were more recipes with molasses!Overall, nice thick pages, pretty pictures, and comforting to look through the book and imagine all the treats I could eat.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!
My daughter is gluten and dairy intolerant. What a challenge to make things especially for holidays! This book is amazing! We made several recipes and everyone (including people without food intolerances) loved the result. I bought one for myself and my daughter who is away at college. The wait was super long (two weeks) but it was well worth the wait and my daughter didnt feel like she missed out on dessert this past holiday. We particularly loved the crep cake. My other daughter who has celiac loves making crepe cakes and so far the recipe with the coconut flour in this book is a winner of all that we tested out. The book is beautiful with lovely photos too. Very very pleased. A wonderful gift for people in your life with food intolerances who also love dessert.

I didn't want it to end!
Love this cookbook for various reasons: it has great recipes that are kid friendly, it explains the methods step by step and you will save money because she teaches you how to make things from scratch! Wholesome, healthy and nutritious. I started reducing sugar and wheat from my diet over a year ago - love her philosophy, style and openness. You cook her recipes and feel like you know her. Buy it and get on the healthy chocolate option bandwagon - oh and support an awesome Mum and Wife who makes a living from being such an incredibly inspirational teacher of nutritional super foods to heal and live fully.

Love, Love
Love, Love, Love this book!!! My daughter and i make recipes from here all the time now and my other 2 kids are astounded that the desserts are paleo! I first checked out this cookbook from the library, cause i don't like to buy cookbooks without trying out the recipes first (i'm learned my lesson and have a few cookbooks sitting on my shelf that i never, ever use). The recipes are fairly simple, and taste really good. The most important thing is that when we eat the desserts we don't get all that awful, icky feeling in our stomachs that comes from most other desserts. The only thing we get is full and satisfied. :)

For all paleo dessert lovers
I come from the "eat dessert first" school and since switching to paleo was finding desserts a little daunting. I have been baking my way through this book and have loved everything we have tried so far. The homemade dark chocolate par recipe is wonderful to have on hand, no more running out to the store for a bar of chocolate. The chocolate doughnuts are heavenly, even my husband who has no trace of a sweet tooth said they were great. The book is wonderfully written and well thought out.

A beautiful book
The pictures are wonderful eye candy. The information about chocolate is wonderful. However, a number of the recipes use ingredients I choose not to use so as a cookbook it is marginally useful for me.

A dairy free eater loving the chocolate recipes!
Amazing book with amazing recipes! It's nice to be able to have chocolate desserts being both gluten and dairy free. My favourite recipe so far are the banana walnut chocolate chip muffins, and the dairy free ice cream is amazing!

espectacular
Me encanta.

So Much Yes.
Delicious recipes! We have used so many of them within the first week of getting this book that the spine now lays easier! Haha!

Book is beautiful, recipes all look good but they all call for ingredients that are too hard to find. I've never made anything from this book.
