I was looking for a delicate chain that was sterling and had a secure clasp. I got the 16 inch 1mm chain with lobster clasp and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the chain. I just ordered one a few days earlier that was clearly not sterling. The 16 inch chain is just a little bit longer than a choker length, and though I like it, I just ordered an 18 inch chain that will probably work better for this cameo. There's no need to be surprised by the length of the chain as one reviewer said she was, because you can just measure it and order accordingly. I knew a 16 inch chain would be short, I just wasn't sure what I wanted. (A 16 inch chain is just past choker length, an 18 inch chain will be a little closer to the breastbone.) The 1mm Is going to be very delicate. So get the 1.5 if you want something slightly sturdier looking. In any case, it's a great price and I can always use more silver chains.

New one looks beautiful.I see a lot of complains about those chains turning black or green, leaving marks.Guys, you need to know if you buy silver - you agree to that from very beginning.Silver does oxidize! It's NORMAL! (especially when we sweat a lot in the summer) It does turn black, that's why for centuries people were cleaning / shining silver. If you get green marks from silver - then it probably had copper added to that fro sturdiness (100% silver is very soft). Usually silver you buy in the store is 925, means 92.5% of silver, the rest 7.5% is - added metal for sturdiness.If it's pretreated - it might help for a while, but it's a chain, links rub on each other, so eventually this treatment will wear off (my sister actually was allergic to rhodium - commonly used to treat silver - so think about that too).I love silver (untreated), because it also has healing properties - used as my very first ear-rings - freshly pierced ears healed very fast!My way to go with it - when you chain (or any other silver piece of jewelry) lost it's shine - take an old tooth brush, toothpaste (any, doesn't need to be some special one) and rub it for a bit on the palm of your hand (usually minute is more than enough), rinse, wipe dry.You're welcome!

Second reviewI've had this for quite a while now and its caught on several things and I thought for sure it had broken. It's a strong chain for being so thin. I highly recommend.First review.I bought the 1mm size chain and it's so thin! But... it's held up so far. I'm very careful with it. It seems pretty sturdy, but if you don't mind the thicker chain then go for it because I'm afraid I'm going to break this one. It's made well though. Very pretty and although it's thin it seems like it's decent quality.

This chain is just what I was looking for. It is just thick enough that I don’t have to worry too much about it breaking but not so thick that it looks bulky. The length is perfect for my locket (I personally don’t like how bigger pendants look when they rest too high on me). It is also just long enough for me to carefully slide it over my head instead of having to use the clasp which is pretty small. I will warn that if you have longer nails, you may have trouble trying to get a grip on the clasp. I can also say that I have worn this chain for well over a month everyday except in the shower and it has not turned colors. Overall, this was well worth the price in my opinion.

It's perfect! This is exactly the chain I was looking for to use with my skull charm! It's delicate, and the length is accurate (I bought 18".)It came in a little drawstring bag with a cleaning cloth - which totally exceeded my expectations!

The chain is pretty but much smaller and more delicate than I visualized through the picture Amazon posted to represent it. I think this should be bought and worn by a child or young person. In fact, it reminds me of a chain I received for a confirmation gift with a religious medallion on it because it's about the same size, just a little shorter. Good news is, I have been wearing it for about a week continually, and I have had no skin reaction to it. My skin is very reactive to impure metals. Also, it really is a pretty chain for the price. I'm choosing to wear an amethyst crystal on mine and I've had several compliments on it so far.

Al comprarla, deben considerar que es muuuuuuy delgada. Yo encargué la más corta, creí que me quedaría como en la ilustración, pero no, me quedó super corta, como un chocker ajustadísimo. Pero en general se ve de calidad.

It is a nice chain and just what I ordered. There is a difference between nice silver and more basic silver with nice silver having a warmer tone. This chain is quite stainless looking so it can only be used with other silver items of that same tone. I got what I expect for the price I paid. I will not return it and may find a use for it.

This is a very nice sterling silver chain. I purchased it because it was 1.5 mm thick which is as far as I’m concerned the perfect thickness for a chain

C puso obscura la cadena muy pronto, compré líquido para joyería d plata, mientras q otras piezas me han quedado limpias y más o menos con algo d brillo, esta cadena permanece negra/obscura...No la recomiendo....
