I bought this to protect my Reduce 64oz Growler and it does a GREAT job!It provides enough padding to protect my expensive growler, without adding a lot of bulk. In fact, just glancing at the bottle, you really don't notice there is a sleeve on it!It has a nylon shell (think backpack) that should wear very well, over a neoprene 'suit'. The nylon shell ends about two inches from the top of the Jug Lug, leaving that much neoprene exposed.The Jug Lug has a shoulder strap, which I doubt I'll use, but looks serviceable, and a 1" wide nylon strap handle on the side, which looks a little undersized to me, but I suspect it will hold up just fine, especially since I will generally be holding the bottle using the loop on the growler's lid. The strap could be a little wider and heavier, but that would have made the JugLug bulkier. I think what they chose is a nice compromise.A zipper runs around the bottom of the JugLug which allows access to the bottom of the case. The case is slipped over the growler and worked into place.The JugLug fits...like...a...glove.I've been using mine for about week and am very happy with it.Because of its skin-tight snug fit, the JugLug would be a pain to take off every time you clean your bottle, but I find it very easy to wash out my bottle with the JugLug in place. I don't immerse the bottle, just wash out the inside. The JugLug got wet, of course, but dried quickly, and was none the worse for wear.I can't think of any downsides to the JugLug. I expect it to do an excellent job of protecting my growler and I look forward to years of service.When you unpack your JugLug you will probably notice a strong odor from the neoprene. This will dissipate by the morning and is not a concern.

I am a water bottle fanatic and after I found my first double walled insulated Hydroflask a year ago, I have since accrued (2) 20oz bottles, (2) 40oz bottles, (3) 64 oz growlers, an array of special Hydroflask lids, and a bunch of JugLug handles in various colors. I will ALWAYS have at least one water bottle with me, but usually two. Suffice it to say - I know water bottles. One of the issues with carrying such a collection is exactly that, how does on carry their trove of bottles efficiently and fashionably.Before purchasing these pouches, I used the  Juglug - Handle for Hydro Flask Type Bottles (Black) 2-pack . These were a great, but imperfect solution to carrying around a water bottle. I really like them because they solved a simple problem using a simple solution; however, it added a tiny problem of its own in the process - it created a small gap that prevented the bottle cap from being completely tightened. Still, despite the minor issue, the handle was great.Enter this pouch. No need for the added handle. Now my awesome water bottles are protected from the constant dings and drops that come with carrying 3 lbs of water. I could through my bottle across my shoulder with this super stylish pouch and do things like ride my bike, skateboard, walk through farmer's markets, go on hikes and picnics, and go to the gym. I'm telling you, it's wasn't easy carrying a 64oz bottle while trying to do those things. I was bumping into things, dropping my stuff left and right, and taking out little kids just walking around with bottle in hand. Nowadays, I just get compliments and questions on where I got my water bottle pouch.This pouch hugs the water bottle perfectly and is really well made with a combination of neoprene and canvas (I believe) making it super sturdy and durable. And of course, the camo design is just the right amount of cool.If I could make just a couple of small changes to this product, they would be:*** Add a pocket to store things like keys, cash, or id. Personally, I just added a small pouch connected by a carabiner clipped to the strap to solve this problem, however if it was built directly onto the pouch this thing would be PERFECT. I can't count how many times at the beach or outdoor movie that I wished this thing had a pocket.*** There is a zipper at the bottom of this pouch which opens the flap that you insert your bottle through. That zipper has fallen off on all my pouches. Being that it is located at the very bottom, the same bottom that contact the floor when you place your bottle down, it's just a matter of time before the zipper handle is broken off. Super minor, but for such a well designed product, it's just a minor annoyance.

I purchased a juglug sleeve in order to enable my husband to tote around his hydro flask with much more ease and safety. As mentioned in other reviews I've read, the hydro flask is also the favorite in my husband's collection due to it's quality and great performance. He proudly boasts that it's the best on the market! Well, the best flask deserves the best sleeve holder and believe me this is it! It makes lugging that flask which at times can be somewhat cumbersome depending on the amount of liquid inside and the type of activity being done at that particular time. The sleeve is extremely well made with an incredible fit which really helps to protect the hydro flask. It's a match made in heaven...so perfect! It allows him to carry it with him no matter what he's doing and also to hang it up temporarily if need be. This is truly a five star product. As far as I can tell there is only one possible improvementand that would be to change the plastic hardware now used to metal ones but that is not a flaw because it serves the purpose for which it was intended. The other day was the first opportunity my husband had to use his new juglug sleeve at work and although there are several other hydro flask owners he is the only one with a juglug sleeve. Who knows , maybe when the other hydro flask owners all get to see it they may also want one. He'll be sure to refer them to Amazon. He loves this juglug sleeeve and would highly recommend it to everyone with a 64oz. hydro flask!
