BBSY Guitar Cable

Works great with Garageband
I picked up this cable as my daughter pinched my old one - a Maplins (remember them?) C-Media USB guitar cable which cost twice the price. I'm not sure where the other reviewer was plugging it but it doesn't sound like a wet fart to me! I'd imagine it's luck of the draw with these cheaper cables but this sounds just as good as the C-Media one but with one massive benefit - I haven't encountered any latency! My older cable would start being out of sync after 10 minutes or so (requiring unplugging and plugging back in to get it back) but this one I've used for an hour straight messing about with live amp simulation in Garageband without any issue. The cable itself seems to be decent quality however the box on the USB end is quite lightweight - probably won't take much of a bashing to come apart.

Disappointed
I was very interested to see how this product performed.. on first plugging in and playing the quality was good I was impressed . The plug on the end is not the best either and will fail, sooner rather than later . Unfortunately whilst playing there was a intermittent nose that , no Matter what I did wouldn’t stop occurring .. it sounds like , what I can only describe as a wet fart ! If you are looking for a good lead to plug and play into your pc/Mac .. don’t buy this . I Brought and tried and it failed the test . Such a shame , could of been a great product .

Decent cable
I actually bought this thinking it would work with the Ubisoft game Rocksmith but I was totally wrong, you need an official Realtone cable for the game to work, my fault. Still it's a decent cable, maybe not the best quality materials or construction, looks a bit flimsy where it connects to guitar, as long as it works that's all that matters I suppose so I will be keeping it as it could be useful for recording guitar.

It works ok
If you spot a question about latency ignore it.It was me using this with Bluetooth headphones and the majority of the latency was that not the cable. There is still a negligible amount of latency with this cable but for the price of this thing I’ll accept that.Otherwise does it’s job ok.Can’t speak on longevity as the USB end of this thing is dubious. But again, given the cost if it lasts a while I’ll accept that.Using this with a travel guitar, MacBook Pro and Amplitube and it does the job just fine.

Decent quality and works with Rocksmith
Decent quality cable and works perfectly with Rocksmith if you use NoCableLauncher (which works well and legally with Rocksmith app)

Don't bother
bought this as a cheaper alternative (should have gone with the recommended device!)Tried my guitar and Bass, with which all I get is static and crackles.Gone through Riffworks and Audacity, plus tried improving with an ASIO update.Complete waste of money!

Works great with GarageBand and Tonebridge at home.
Bought to plug my acoustic electric guitar into garage band for recording, with no expectation of high end performance. This works great, we’ve also plugged an electric guitar into Tonebridge and were impressed with the results from the Mac. Good fun if you’re aiming to noodle about at home, no interference or noise noticed at the volume we play.
